Almost every weekend, we are entertaining kids in our family and often times our family play dates revolve around some type of fun game! Now that the temperatures are turning colder, our game-playing time has moved indoors.

One of the hottest toys & games going this holiday season happens to be the Dwayne Wade’s Get It Hoops Basketball Game. This is the same game As Seen on TV…so, I’m sure many of you have seen the TV commercials advertising it.

What’s really cool about this is that your kids can play basketball anywhere and record their highlights to share online with their friends with the built in app! When the ball goes through the hoop, it tells the app to create the highlight loop to upload to social or share with family and friends! The hoop also has live action game sounds that magically communicates each shot to the Get It Hoops app and keeps score! If you don’t want the “online sharing” feature, don’t worry, you don’t have to use that and the kids will still have fun!

We had a bunch of kids (and adults) here for our Thanksgiving feast and they absolutely LOVED playing this! We hooked it onto the back of our front door and within minutes, the kids (and adults) were playing a friendly game of basketball. Since we have younger kids in the family, we opted to NOT hook up the online sharing APP since we don’t let them online. Regardless, it was still fun for them and they loved how it kept automatic score and the automatic & realistic game sounds were awesome!

During nice weather days, you can hook it up on the outside of your door and let the kids play with it outside too. So, in my opinion, it’s an indoor & outdoor game! Plus, it’s a great size and light-weight, so if you’re doing some traveling, don’t be afraid to take it along with you!

    I will watch basketball because of my other half, but I don’t have a fav team or player. I enjoy playing NBA 2K-whatever it is currently with my nephew. I’m incredibly competitive with it. I would give this to my nephew if I won.

    Our two favorite Basketball teams are the Milwaukee Bucks and the Chicago Bulls beings our families live in Illinois and in Wisconsin too.

    Well, I live in KY, so I am definitely a basketball fan. (Go Cats!!) My nephews would love to play this. It looks so much more impressive than the typical over the door games.
