Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread

October 3, 2016 by A Bailey

Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut and Cocoa SpreadThere are a few flavor combinations made in heaven, but possibly the most luxuriously decadent of all is hazelnut and chocolate. Now vegans and the lactose intolerant can enjoy that heavenly combination in spreadable form with the introduction of Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut & Cocoa Spread from Rigoni di Asiago.

This tasty spread is something you can feel good about serving your family, since it’s made from organic ingredients and contains no GMOs, preservatives, hydrogenated fats, or artificial sweeteners or colors. Nocciolata (pronounced “no-cho-lata”) Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut & Cocoa Spread is also gluten free and certified vegan, and it’s made with free trade cocoa.

Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread

Best of all, it’s truly delicious. The flavor is deep and chocolaty with a nice richness from the hazelnuts. That, along with its smooth and velvety texture, makes it seem like a real indulgence.

My favorite way to enjoy it? Just give me a spoon and pass the jar, please! It’s also lovely on warm toast or an English muffin where it melts slightly; you might be fooled into thinking you’re having dessert for breakfast. Likewise, a spoonful stirred into oatmeal or overnight oats brings that simple breakfast to a whole new level. I’m thinking the Nocciolata Spread would make a delicious filling sandwiched between shortbread cookies, too.

Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread

The chocolate-hazelnut combination goes great with fruit, especially bananas. A smoothie with milk, a banana, and a dollop of Nocciolata Spread is really good (if you’re vegan or lactose intolerant, using Nocciolata Dairy Free and coconut milk will work well for you), and if you’ve got a Yonanas dessert maker, try adding a spoonful or two of Nocciolata Spread along with the frozen bananas for a special frosty treat.

Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut and Cocoa Spread

Nocciolata Dairy Free Organic Hazelnut & Cocoa Spread is currently available at Whole Foods Markets and will soon be available with Rigoni di Asiago’s other products on Amazon. For more information, updates, and recipes, visit the company’s website.

Exclusively developed by Rigoni di Asiago, Nocciolata is a smooth and delicious organic cream of hazelnut and chocolate spread. Its unique flavour and texture are the result of nearly 36 hours slow processing, essential for bringing out all the flavour of hazelnuts and chocolate.
