Just like most of you, I like going out and hunting down some incredible bargain deals and two weeks ago I grabbed some great ones at A.C. Moore the Arts & Crafts Store! So, for our bi-monthly Fun Frugal Finds feature, I’ll be showing you the deals that I nabbed!
Normally you don’t find seasonal decor at deeply discounted prices until the season or holiday has passed. Well, back in September I was shopping at A.C. Moore and I picked up some great seasonal decor deals.
They had these HUGE house flags tossed into a bin and they were normally priced at $19.99 each. I got a Welcome beach theme house flag with a seagull and seashells on it for $5.00. I got a Happy Halloween house flag that’s purple with black spiders appliqued onto it for $3.00 and I got a Christmas Gingerbread House “Grandkids are Spoiled Here” house flag for $4.00. Each of those 3 house flags normally cost $19.99 each and I got all three of them for a total of $12.00. Then I found a Fall/Autumn Garden Flag (the smaller ones) with scarecrows on it for $2.50 that was normally priced at $12.99. For less than the price of one house flag, I got 4 new flags for my decorating!
Then I found some great Fall and Halloween decor that I just had to grab. Check out these deals! The wooden scarecrow for Autumn is great because I can use him for Halloween and Thanksgiving, the same with the Autumn Pumpkins. Each of these pieces are made out of wood and large enough to hang on a front or back door. I got each of them for $3.00 and they were normally priced at $12.99 each!
The Spooky Halloween hanger is also a nice size and was originally priced at $12.99 and I got it on clearance for $2.00. My little granddaughter actually picked it out and we have it hanging in our large living room window with a suction cup. Guests walking up to our front door can see it and it looks very nice hanging in the window.
Normally you find holiday home decor deals a week before the holiday or after the holiday season has concluded. Surprisingly, I got all of these great bargains & deals back in September which is PLENTY of time for me to use them throughout the Fall season. Yipppeee!

I always use what we have on hand for the current year. Its after the Holidays I buy things on clearance, I am wanting one of the skeletons and hoping to find one in the 90% off area 🙂 I have so many decorations and have to clear some out soon. You found some great stuff!

I love decorating for Halloween. We get so many kids in our neighborhood trick or treating. AC Moore is a great place to find some fun bargains.
I love reading your shopping bargain posts, but I am strong-willed not to add to my stash that needs cleaned out as it is! I have plenty of Halloween decorations since it’s one of my fave holidays. Always enjoy my purple and orange lights and they don’t take up much space.
You were lucky to get all these decorations before the season started. My favorite is the Spooky sign. I have not found any great bargains, but I hope to get to a Dollar store soon.
I do all my holiday decorating by either making things or buying very inexpensive things and sometimes impriving on them a bit with a glue gun and other stuff. You seem to be a master at finding the deals but I’m pretty good at it too!
Those are great deals for you since you like to decorate a lot. I haven’t even been shopping for a couple of weeks, so no bargains.
