Wow, today is September 2nd and Labor Day is only a few days away. The kids already went back to school around here and for many…Labor Day is the unofficial end to summer, although the calendar still says that summer is still here for another 3 weeks. With that said, we’ve definitely been a few degrees cooler around here in regards to temperatures. We are hoping to be able to keep our pool open for at least another 2 weeks before we close it down for the season. I love swimming, so that saddens me!
One of the new changes you’ll see here on the TCC blog is an Amazon banner on the homepage in the right side bar. I’m trying to monetize the blog better, to help cover the costs of running it & managing it. In addition, I’ll be inserting some Amazon affiliate links into a few posts here & there along the way. They will be MARKED appropriately as affiliate links. To make it clear, I’m not trying to get rich or make a fulltime income off of sales, but I do need to bring in more money to cover the costs of running this site. Hope you all understand and if you ever do make a purchase through one of those affiliate links, I thank you ahead of time. I decided to monetize this way, instead of slapping up annoying pop-up ads & slider ads like the other bloggers. I hate those ads, they’re annoying, so I’m not subjecting all of you to them when I hate them myself.
Anyway, have a great holiday weekend!
