As you all know, I have two beautiful grandchildren. My granddaughter is 7 years old and my grandson just turned one. When the grandchildren are over at my home, they sleep in one of my guest bedrooms that is “child-friendly” in it’s decor. With that said, I needed a nightlight that would look super cute in their room and I finally got one!

One of the things I like about them is that there are no on/off buttons for the kids to mess with. In addition, the light is not blinding bright and won’t disturb them while they’re sleeping. Each one gives off a soft glow, just enough light for me to walk in and check on them or if they wake up at night…it won’t be pitch black. These lights are so cute in their whale shape and i love that there is no switch , but instead they turn on and off automatically.
Just read your reply about having a nightlight that turns on automatically at dusk and off at sunrise. That is such a clever idea to make it look like someone is home. I had never thought of this before. This whale one is darling and so perfect for a kids room – boy or girl.
I like that there is no off or on to fool with. If you forget you have to go running back or they stay on all day. I like how they turn off on their own and also come on. Beeing LED the would be cool to the touch unlike the old traditional nightlights. I like how cute these are too!
Those are cute. we put nightlights around the house, too, to make it easier for anyone who has to take a midnight trip through the house, lol.

June, we have a LOT of nightlights throughout our home too! We do a LOT of traveling, so when we are traveling, every room at home gets a nightlight put in that automatically turns on at dusk and off at sunrise. This helps to deter burglaries and gives the appearance that people are home every night while you’re traveling.
How cute is that. We also have night lights in the hall and down the stairs for people on nocturnal journeys to bathrooms and even the kitchen!
