Just like most people in the world, I adore chocolate. Matter of fact, I swoon for chocolate goodies almost every day. My daughter Shelly is a fiend for milk chocolate but I much prefer dark. Which type of chocolate do you enjoy?
If you’re looking for a no-bake chocolate treat that is really easy to prepare, I’ve got a great recipe to share with you today. Just looking at that photo makes my mouth water! I think they would be great to make during the holiday season when I do a lot of entertaining.
No-Bake Cherry Crème Filled Dark Chocolate Bites Recipe
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
2 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon Sparkling Ice® Black Cherry
2 tablespoons chopped dried sweet cherries
1 cup dark semisweet chocolate chips (60% cacao)
Toppings: Chopped pistachios, chopped almonds, coconut and chopped dried sweet cherries
In small bowl, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese and Sparkling Ice® Black Cherry, mixing to combine. Add dried cherries, mixing well to incorporate. Cover and refrigerate mixture for at least 1 hour; remove from fridge. With spoon or buttered hands, drop slightly less than ½ tablespoonful onto parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 to 45 minutes. (Mixture will be sticky.)
Melt chocolate per package microwave directions and set aside. Remove 1 to 2 frozen cherry fillings from the freezer at a time, and using toothpicks or 2 forks, dip each frozen filling into the chocolate to cover, shaking excess chocolate off. Place on parchment and top as desired. Continue for remaining chocolate bites. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.

These look really good. I have always liked the combination of cherries and chocolate. Seeing as this is no bake I like it even better! I bet these can be frozen easily too, and would keep really well!
Oh wow those look good & easy to make!
Thank you for the recipe.
Um, no I don’t like chocolate. (that is NOT chocolate on my fingers, it BBQ) Oh, OK, it’s chocolate from the Reese’s Peanut butter cup I just ate. These look so good and I love all the flavors in them.
I got out my old dehydrator and trying some new foods dried. I’ve not dried cherries yet and they sound delish. I’ll look for them on sale and then experiment. Some day I’ll get a new fancy dehydrator but can’t throw out one that still works! I bet the cream cheese in this just makes it irresistible.
Two of my favorite dessert foods are cherries and chocolate, so this recipe is made for me! I too prefer dark chocolate to the milk variety. I might used dried tart cherries instead of the sweet ones.
I love dark chocolate and I know these bites would be favorites of mine. I like that they are bites so that I would be able to control portion sizes. They have a combination of ingredients that are so good.
