Bob the Builder Play Date Toy Party

I invited the kids over for a play date with us and we all sat down to watch a few Bob the Builder episodes and afterwards, we got the toys out for some playtime fun!

One of the things I LOVED about the Bob the Builder Construction Site was the PlaySand. It was super easy for the kids to mold into different shapes and designs, using the provided tools in the play set. Plus, the PlaySand didn’t dry out at all. The kids played with this construction site more than the other toys that they sent to us…but they did enjoy them all. I guess what I’m saying is, the construction site was definitely their favorite!

After the 3 hours of play time…I served them a quick dinner and then we had some ice cream sundaes. It was a great day and they were thoroughly entertained. Matter of fact, my 7 year old granddaughter has been over to our home 3 more times since the play date party and each time she was here, she got out the Bob the Builder toys! They are real winners!

You can start finding these great toys in retailers across the nation this Fall and online. With the Christmas holiday coming up, I think they would make awesome holiday gifts.

  1. I have a granddaughter the same age as yours and I know she would also love these toys. And the best part is that they would work great in the future for my grandson as he gets a little older. I like that these toys are so versatile and kids can get so many hours of enjoyment.

  2. Gee, I don’t think it ever left our PBS stations (reruns anyway). I’m glad to see Curious George in the lineup more often on PBS Kids too. Even if you don’t have cable or satellite TV, there are so many great shows that entertain. It will be nice to see the updated shows now.

I think that Bob the builder is an excellent series on PBS and I am glad that it is back. The toys seem to be just as good as the program. It is great that the Play sand does not dry out and t\hat children can have many hours of fun with the construction sets and toys.

  4. I love this post. I remember I had a little yellow hard hat just like that one when I was her age but I think it said my name across the front. I so love the paper bag vest that is so clever and cute. I would have loved to play with this building set when I was a little kid. This would make such a great Christmas gift thanks for sharing and have a nice rest of the weekend.
