Eco-Friendly Urban Market BagsI never leave home without a few key essentials—lip balm/lipstick, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle and reusable bags. As luck would have it, I was asked to test out some eco-friendly durable reusable shopping bags from Urban Market Bags, which fit into my lifestyle (and my purse) perfectly. I received a three pack of the bags, which all fit into a compact drawstring pack that is easy to carry with you or store in your car.

Urban Market Bags was created by two longtime friends who were both environmentally conscious, but found they were using countless numbers of bags to keep up with their daily routines. The women were both early adopters of reusable bags, but as time went on, those reusable bags became stained, were flimsy and took up a lot of storage space. After some brainstorming over wine (my kind of ladies), these women came up with the only true system that eliminates the hassle and pain of dealing with stained, bulky, poorly made bags. Urban Market Bags was born.

These bags are eco-friendly nylon market bags made from 100% SUPPLEX nylon that have longer handles for slinging over the shoulder and are conveniently stored in one drawstring pack that fits easily into the cup holder or glove box of your car or even into your purse. These are great bags to have on hand for any kind of scenario from farmer’s markets and grocery stores to craft stores and even the beach. Make sure they are always with you so you don’t end up one of those awful bags from the grocery store. The Urban Market Bags are 26 inches tall and 12.5 inches wide and there are three of them that fit into the drawstring pack (the pack is only 5 inches tall!).

Eco-Friendly Urban Market Bags

The Urban Market Bags are high quality, reusable and easily collapse and fold back up into the drawstring pack. I actually thought that once I took them out, I’d never get them back in the same way again. I was wrong. They were so easy to fold right back up and have them ready for their next shopping adventure. The bags also look really great and are affordable at $28 for the three-pack. I received the 3-pack, which comes in two different color varieties—Metro (the one I reviewed) and Rural.

My favorite things about these bags:

• They are completely machine washable.
• They fit more than you think they will (my entire grocery shopping trip fit in the three bags). They carry 20% more than the average plastic bag.
• They are compact and convenient.
• They are good for the environment (I like to do my part).

    I would love to have the 6 pack set in metro. I think it’s great that they are washable, but more importantly, compact, so they fit in my purse so I don’t forget them in the car!!

    I would still love to have the 3 pack in the softer Metro Colors~I cant wait till they come out with the Customized ones~ That would be awesome to pick out your own color and have the personalization or your own Emblem or Initals!!
