If you’ve been following this blog for the past year, you’ll already know that I love adult coloring books! They’re a great way to reduce stress in my life and during the evening hours, I love to sit down with one and let my creativity flow.
The newest book that I’ve recently added to my collection is titled “The Curiosity Shoppe Coloring Book”, illustrated by Chris Price and published by Adams Media. The designs inside it are a magical & mad exploration of a most amusing & unexpected assemblage of novelties & oddities.
Synopsis: Welcome to the weird, wonderful world of the Curiosity Shoppe, where every drawer, shelf, and display offers a new discovery. It’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen, let alone colored, as the pages provide an escape to a bygone era. In The Curiosity Shoppe Coloring Book, you can explore a bric-a-brac store and bring life to its many oddities through your color choices and combinations. The Curiosity Shoppe Coloring Book is a treat for your eyes and your imagination!
Wow…where do I start with this one! It’s definitely unlike any other adult coloring books that you already have! These designs are absolutely beautiful and every entertaining! Every time I sit down to start a page, I am in awe of it’s design and all of the little hidden treasures that I discover along the way.
If you’ve ever visited a crowded antiques shop with all of it’s little vintage treasures, that’s what many of the designs remind me of. You’ll find vintage hats, teapots & teacups, old bottles, figurines, old music instruments, vintage toys from a bygone era, insects, fish and all kinds of things! I really appreciate all of the different designs in this book and NOTHING is duplicated at all. There is something for everyone in this book and trust me, you won’t get bored with this one at all.
This adult coloring book is absolutely fantastic! I’m so glad to have it in my collection, because it’s so different! Unlike other books where all of the designs are fish or clowns…this book has a different theme & design on each page! Another thing I adore about this book is that all of the pages are square-shaped and not rectangular like book pages. This is nice if you want to mat & frame them once completed to hang on your wall.
