Writing this post today almost brought tears to my eyes. My little Princess (granddaughter) just started 2nd grade this week and I already miss her! This past summer we babysat her here at my home 2-3 days a week, so that DD could cut down her daycare costs. I really enjoyed spending all of that time with the Princess and now I have to adjust to my house being extremely quiet during the day once again. Plus, it’s August 26th and we officially have less than a month left of summer. Here in the northeast, even less than that, so we will probably be closing up our swimming pool for the season in another two weeks. Sigh.
Thank you for following the blog this week and trust me…I do appreciate all of you who take the time out of your busy day to read my posts and to especially leave your comments on my posts. I do indeed READ all of your comments! You’re appreciated!
I was a teacher for over 35 years and I have to agree with this quote. I always appreciate this week in review post so that I have the opportunity to catch up all the posts I missed. We are visiting our son and family for the first birthday of our twin grandsons. It is such a joy to see them.
Joann,
Prince Jax will be celebrating his 1st Birthday too…this coming Saturday is his birthday party! So much fun spending time with our grand wee ones!
