The Company’s History: The designer and her husband were on vacation in Barbados when they spotted a lonely black kitten abandoned on some rocks along the ocean. They decided to rescue him and turn him into an animal shelter. After a day or two, the couple decided to fully rescue him and bring him back to America. Once home, he got the name Rocky which is fitting since they rescued him from the rocks! While on the beach they noticed a bunch of forgotten sea glass and realized how beautiful it was. To rescue the sea glass, the designer got creative and came up with her own jewelry line which you can see online. So, in one trip, a beautiful cat was rescued and a business was born! I was browsing around in CatOnRock’s online store and oh my gosh, I found some beautiful pieces of sea glass jewelry! Beautiful. I love finding sea glass, and I have some pretty pieces in bowls with shells and pretty stones. Cat On Rock has some lovely jewelry from sea glass, in colors I’ve never been lucky enough to find.
