In honor of the newly released “Peppa Pig Sunny Vacation” kid’s DVD, we thought we would get crafty with some new Peppa Pig craft projects. Both of the projects we are featuring today are great for preschoolers and young elementary school-aged children to do, with some assistance from the adults. In addition, each project whips up quickly and is inexpensive to make.
Kid’s Craft Project: Peppa Pig Refrigerator Magnets
1 Sheet Light Pink Craft Foam
1 Sheet Medium Pink Craft Foam
All-Purpose Quick Drying Glue
Scissors
Magnets
Medium Pink Sharpie Marker
Black Sharpie Marker
2 Wiggle Eyes (per magnet)
We found a FREE Peppa Pig printable template online and used that for our pattern. You can find the template HERE. We re-sized the template during the printing process to obtain the size that we wanted.
Using the template, we traced the head pattern onto light pink craft foam and cut it out with scissors. We cut out an oval shape from light pink craft foam for the nose. We used the medium pink (one shade darker than the light pink) to cut out the one cheek and two ovals for Peppa’s eyes.
Using the black Sharpie marker, we drew two small ovals onto the nose piece for nostrils. We used the medium pink Sharpie marker to just outline the oval nose (snout). Use craft glue to glue it onto the head.

Glue the pink eye pieces and the medium cheek piece onto the head. Add a tiny dot of glue onto the back of each wiggle eye and add them to the eye pieces as shown in the photograph. Use the black Sharpie marker to draw Peppa’s mouth and the medium pink Sharpie marker to draw on the inner ears. Let dry for an hour and then flip it over and glue your magnet disk or strips onto the back. Let dry for 2-3 hours and it’s done!
Kid’s Craft Project: Peppa Pig Memo Board
1 Dry Erase Memo Board w/Marker
1 Craft Foam Peppa Pig (see above)
All Purpose Craft Glue
We bought our Dry Erase Memo Board with Marker at our local Dollar Discount Store for $1.00. Follow the directions above to make the Pepper Pig refrigerator magnet but omit gluing the magnet on the back. Instead, you’ll want to add some glue to the upper right corner of the dry erase board (on the plastic frame) and glue your Peppa Pig foam shape onto the corner. Since we added a good bit of glue, it did take about 3 hours to completely dry.
If you want to make your dry erase board magnetized, you can add heavy duty magnets on the back. Our dry erase board has a little hanger back there so that it can be hung up. If desired, you could paint the black frame pink…we decided to leave our’s black.

I want to make one with my granddaughter. We love Peppa.
That is an adorable craft! My grandsons absolutely love Peppa Pig. Each week at school, they rotate specials and it’s a schedule we have to keep up with. This would be a great place to write the schedule for the week so they can see what special they have.
I like the memo board with Peppa Pig craft. Would be cute in a kid’s room.
I Just Love these 2 Art Projects! Peppy The Pig is just adorable.. My Grandkids would love to do this craft with me! The weather will start getting colder now so we need more projects to do inside, when they come over. Thank you so much for sharing both of these ! 🙂
Thank you Cathy for your comments! That Peppa Pig template can be used to make Christmas ornaments using craft foam, package ties for Birthday presents and all sorts of other things. We’ve used the template with craft foam and with stiffened felt sheets that we got at the craft store.
