Good Karma Skincare - Face CreamI’m 48 years old and I have to admit…growing older is definitely NOT fun. I’ve always taken great care of my skin and started using a skincare product line on a regular basis when I was 24 years old. For the past few years, I’ve noticed age spots popping up on my face, some very fine lines around my mouth (especially above my upper lip) and some fine lines & dark circles around my eyes. Sigh…I really don’t like what I’m seeing..

I was sent a complimentary jar of the Lux 7 Age Defying Four-in-One Face Cream by Good Karma Skincare to try out for all of you. This face cream is the ultimate age-defying complex of 7 antioxidant rich nutrients and is made for normal to dry skin.

So, what is a four-in-one face cream? It’s one that is your daily moisturizer, skin-refining serum, eye cream and night cream…all in one product which makes taking care of your aging skin quick & easy!

Lux 7 is Good Karma Skincare’s natural, nutrient dense line that works to erase the signs of time: Fewer wrinkles, smooth & firm skin, and a glow that radiates from within – naturally.

I started using this face cream every day shortly after I received it. I prefer to use it in the evening, after I’ve cleansed my face. You want to apply it to your face while it’s still slightly damp from cleansing. Since you’re detoxing your skin from contaminates, you may notice some red areas after using the product. I did notice that during the first 4-5 days after application, but that’s all. After the first few days, my skin had adjusted to it and I had no further issues with the product.

They recommend applying it day and night…but I have sensitive skin and elected to just apply it at night. It comes packaged in an elegantly-looking jar. To dispense the product, you press-down on the white top until the correct amount of product is dispensed. Use your fingertips to apply it to your face and neck.

One of the things I like about the product is it’s consistency and how quickly it absorbs into my skin. Next, I love how it smells…clean, fresh and with just a hint of grapefruit fragrance. After application, your skin doesn’t feel greasy, oily or weighted down. I would describe the feeling as light & airy.

This one face cream will help to stimulate collagen production and cell regeneration. It will help to reduce fine lines & wrinkles and improve your skin’s elasticity and firmness. Furthermore, it will help to lighten dark circles under your eyes and diminish your pore size.

I’ve been using it once a day for the past 16 or 17 days and I have to admit, my skin’s texture is about 30% better than before I started using this cream. By that, I mean it’s less dry, feels smoother and my pores do appear to be shrinking in size. I’m going to continue to use it because I want to see if it will diminish the look of my age spots and hopefully diminish those fine lines that I mentioned earlier in my review.

    The ingredient list looks good on the facial cleanser. I like the fact that they specify on the site that it is PH balanced. It’s very important for healthy skin, and too often when I am looking at new products I have to hunt for that info about various cleansers.
