My 7 year old granddaughter is getting ready to start second grade and yes, I feel old just saying that! We’ve been busy the past 3 1/2 weeks getting her all of those quint-essential back-to-school items that she needs and received a gorgeous dress from Biscotti and Kate Mack. This time around we received a beautiful Skater Style Dress to review for you and let me tell you, it’s gorgeous! One of the things I love about this dress is that it’s very versatile. Gia can wear it to school, to a party, to church or for any special or casual occasion. When the weather gets blistering cold out here in the northeast, she can put tights or black leggings underneath it and wear it like a long tunic.
The skater dress is made out of a combination of polyester, rayon and spandex. It’s hand wash and line dry. (Even though they recommend hand washing, I placed it in a lingerie bag and washed it in my washer on the delicate cycle and then lined dry and it came out perfectly).
The dress is done with a color-block pattern consisting of winter white, black and a pretty pink raspberry color. I really appreciate that it comes fully lined too! The back of the dress features an exposed zipper closure which allows for easy on & easy off. It’s a medium-weight fabrication and trust me, no one is seeing through it.
When ordering, I do recommend you order true-to-size. Everything we’ve reviewed from this company fits my granddaughter perfectly if we order that way, plus…she still has a little bit of growing room. This dress is impeccably made and you can really tell that it’s high-quality! Something your little girl will be proud to wear.

It’s a beautiful dress on a beautiful girl. I like that you washed it in a bag instead of hand washing and it turned out fine.
I think that this dress is just adorable and she looks so cute in it. I also love the length and that it is long sleeved. I am not a fan of some of the young girls dresses that I see that are waaayyyy too short and sleeveless, those are fine for running through the spinkler in your backyard but not for public or for school.

I love the dress! It reminds me of something from the 60’s but with a more modern twist. Something you would see a Starlet wearing in one of those old movies. It’s classy!
