I’ve been using various Colgate toothpastes for the past couple of years and I’m going to admit up front, it’s my preferred brand of toothpaste. Matter of fact, it’s the preferred brand for most of the adults in my immediate family.
One of the newer toothpastes to the Colgate line is called Colgate Enamel Health Mineral Repair Toothpaste. Everyday eating and drinking can weaken your enamel, but now with new Colgate Enamel Health Mineral Repair, there is a simple way to help repair and strengthen weakened enamel.
This particular toothpaste helps absorb vital minerals, like natural calcium, for stronger, healthy enamel. It provides protection against sensitivity and cavities, in addition to providing whitening and fresh breath benefits. It’s available in a very pleasant Mint Burst flavor, which I really enjoy. The flavoring is just perfect and isn’t over-whelming at all.
One of the things I appreciate about the Colgate Enamel Health Mineral Repair Toothpaste is that after I use it…my teeth feel extremely clean. I love rubbing my tongue over smooth & clean teeth! On top of that, I end up with very fresh breath and I’m getting the whitening benefits too. I’m enjoying the Mint Burst flavor. Let’s face it, if your toothpaste tastes nasty, your less apt to use it or brush your teeth! When brushing your teeth, don’t forget to brush your tongue and get that clean too!
When it comes to healthy teeth and gums…I think it’s equally important to use a good toothbrush. I’ve been using Colgate brand toothbrushes for over the past 10 years or so.
This time around I got to try out the Colgate 360º Enamel Health Whitening Manual Toothbrush. This toothbrush is designed with polishing spiral bristles to help whiten by removing surface stains. The whitening cups hold toothpaste as you brush and their unique tongue & cheek cleaner that helps remove more bacteria than brushing teeth alone with an ordinary flat-trim toothbrush.
Both of these Colgate Enamel Health oral care products are available nationwide at mass retailers, grocery stores and drug stores. You can learn more about the Colgate Enamel Health line of products by visiting the company’s web site online.

The #1 thing that I look forward to with a toothpaste is that it solves my current concern. Sometimes it is whitening, other times it is stronger enamel…etc.
Ususally I buy a main brand toothpaste that is refreshing. I also use GUM pics. I find them easier than floss.
I look for a paste to freshen my breath and get me through day,
I usually base my likes on the after taste and the way it leaves my mouth feeling.
I look at many things overall: whitening, preventing tooth and gum diseases, and cost are big ones. There are so many concerns when it comes to teeth and gums, and the health is so important. Vital to overall health. We bought those DenTek flossers and leave the bag in sight. It’s a lot easier to grab one of those over a toothpick after dinner or before bed flossing.
Silly maybe, but the thing I care most about is does it have (horrible) Spearmint in it. Often times you can’t tell because it just says ‘mint’. Spearmint actually produces a gag reflex in me.

The number one thing is taste for me when picking out a toothpaste. I currently have three different kinds of toothpaste so I don’t get bored.
I am very careful about my teeth as I have TMJ and some aspects of trigeminal neuralgia. I therefore have sensitive teeth . I wear a mouth guard and I floss and brush a lot.
Maureen, I have a severe case of trigeminal neuralgia and have had surgery for it three times, including gammo knife radiation to try to kill the nerves. It’s a miserable condition to say the least!
