Fun Frugal Finds – Coastal Beach Door Wreath

August 1, 2016 by Shelly

Frugal Finds and Hot DealsEvery couple of weeks, I try to do a Fun Frugal Finds post here on The Classy Chics blog. I love going out and hunting down some great bargains, don’t you? Well, if you love to hit the outlet stores & outlet malls, you’ll love this deal I snatched up last month!

I love watching the home shopping channels on TV and I do admit, I buy from them, but when I buy…it also has to be a great deal. Well, one of my favorite home shopping channels called QVC is based right here in Pennsylvania, West Chester to be exact.
Seashell Wreath from QVC
In Lancaster, Pennsylvania they have a QVC Outlet store located at the Rockvale Outlets and every time I’m down in Lancaster, I go into that store and never leave empty handed!

This gorgeous seashell wreath originally sold for $29.00 on-air (on television) and at their outlet store it was marked down to $25.52. Well, that’s not a good enough deal for me…but hold on….This particular day that I was there they were giving you 45% off the ticketed price on home decor items! Wow! Now…that’s a deal!

After it was all said and done, I got my beautiful seashell coastal wreath for a tad over $13.00 and if you’ve priced wreaths lately, they’re expensive! Matter of fact, I have another wreath that I purchased online last year (not as pretty as this one) that I paid $65.00 for! Yikes, what was I thinking back then? Ugh!

I love that I can hang this wreath on one of my doors or hang it inside. I did decide to hang it up on the wall in one of our bathrooms that is in a beach coastal design with pale blue, light aqua and coral colors. Looks beautiful and what a deal!

Wow that is a deal for such a pretty wreath. I like to change the wreaths on my door at least for every season so know how expensive they can be especially if you want a decent looking one that will last for more than a few weeks since I do reuse.

I haven’t shopped QVC in a while. I get a few bargains on HSN but I don’t watch it on TV. I check the clearance online every now and then. My last great bargain was a $5 pair of jeans that fit great. I love your wreath but I am trying to minimize my decorations so need to donate more of my things for a more minimal look–yep, good luck with that is right!

Nicely done! No good bargains here lately, because I haven’t been out shopping, except at the grocery store. The best deal there was a pound of 93% lean ground turkey for $1.99. Not quite as much fun as your pretty wreath, though.

This is a beautiful coastal wreath and you did get a great deal on it. I have not found anything like this in a while , but I always look for deals online and in stores.

It is a pretty one! I see so many great wreaths online & on TV, but they are so expensive! The ones on Pinterest, that I could make myself, are about what I can usually afford, lol. You got a great deal.

That was a good deal for a lovely wreath. I don’t even have a TV to shop from and don’t go to outlet malls.
