Comfortable, Stylish and Affordable Okabashi Shoes
Today I would like to introduce you to the footwear company called Okabashi who makes some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever had on the bottom of my feet! Okabashi is a family-owned business that has focused on designing and manufacturing extremely comfortable shoes for more than 25 years. Not only are Okabashi shoes comfortable…but they are super fashionable and very affordable.
I’m going to be honest with all of you. About 2 1/2 years ago I had my first total hip replacement and I’m getting ready to go for another one later this Fall. Since having my hip replaced, I’ve had issue finding comfortable shoes for me to wear. My gait is a little off and if I’m not wearing comfortable shoes, I get a slew of leg, hip and lower back pain. Hence, my hunt to find comfortable shoes!
I received the women’s Lakeside Sandals to review for you. One of the reasons I selected this specific pair for the review is that I like that they have a little wedge heel which means I can wear them casually or with a nice skirt or summer dress. They’re available in 5 different colors.
They feature slip-resistant soles so they’re perfect for me to wear around our pool or when we are down at our beach house having some fun. They’re made out of their signature microplast material which means you can get them wet. Matter of fact, I had some dirt on them and just rinsed them clean in my bathtub. They look as good as new!
I’ve been wearing them almost every day since I received them and I love them! They are super comfortable and I think my gait has even improved since I’ve been wearing them. Even with that little wedge heel, I feel very steady on my feet. I’ve worn them with shorts, capris, a summer skirt and with my black & white maxi dress and they work with all of those outfits perfectly!
I’m going to give them a real workout until our weather gets colder and then I’ll need to find something comfortable and warm for my feet. Until then…you’ll find the Lakeside Sandals on my feet almost daily. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! (sorry about the white feet with my tan lines!)
