Barbara’s Releases Limited-Edition Collectible Bracelets to Adopt 1,000 Imperiled Animals

August 2, 2016 by Shelly

Barbara's Puffins CerealMy husband and I are big wildlife lovers. Matter of fact, we travel all over the place just so we can view wild animals in their natural habitats. In addition, we donate our time and money to various charitable organizations that help to preserve those natural habitats and to save the animals. With all of that said, I’m happy to share some information with you today on Barbara’s new campaign to help!

Leading Wholesome Cereal and Snack Company Partners with Defenders of Wildlife, a National Nonprofit Organization, to Raise Funds and Awareness for Wildlife and Habitat Conservation.

Barbara's Wildlife Campaign

Barbara’s, known for making delicious cereals and snacks from simple, wholesome ingredients, has partnered with Defenders of Wildlife – a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of all native animals and plants in their natural communities – creating limited-edition collectible bracelets featuring key imperiled species. Four unique bracelet designs depict a wolf, sea turtle, elephant and polar bear – all vulnerable animal groups representing the Earth’s impressive wildlife heritage. Net proceeds from all bracelets sold will be donated to Defenders of Wildlife’s animal adoption program, with the goal of adopting 1,000 imperiled animals by the end of the campaign.

The brightly colored collectible bracelets are available while supplies last for $5.00 each, or $20.00 for a Family Four Pack, online at shop.barbaras.com. Net proceeds will be donated to Defenders of Wildlife through their symbolic animal adoption program. All adoption donations benefit the wildlife and habitat conservation efforts of Defenders of Wildlife.

Barbara's Wildlife Campaign

“Supporting animal conservation has always been central to the Barbara’s brand, and we’re thrilled to partner with Defenders of Wildlife to amplify their mission and impactful work in protecting threatened species,” said Tim Kenny, Director of Marketing at Barbara’s. “We believe it’s important for us each to do our part to prevent extinction, and to preserve our planet’s magnificent species for generations to come. We’ve set a lofty goal of adopting 1,000 endangered animals in a short period of time, but believe that through our supportive community we can come together to achieve this feat.”

Through this partnership with Defenders of Wildlife, Barbara’s is encouraging animal lovers and families nationwide to help safeguard wildlife with the purchase of a collectible bracelet. Dedicated to protecting wildlife and the planet, Barbara’s supports numerous nonprofit organizations including the National Wildlife Federation and the National Audubon Society’s Project Puffin.

Barbara’s offers a full line of delicious cereals and snacks, including popular consumer favorites like Puffins cereals, Snackimals cereals and cookies, Morning Oat Crunch, Cheese Puffs and more. In addition to using whole grains and other natural ingredients, the majority of Barbara’s product portfolio is now Non-GMO Project Verified. Products are available at major retail grocery stores and natural food stores nationwide. For more information on Barbara’s products, please visit the Barbara’s website or Facebook page.
