Like most women, I love jewelry and I am totally addicted to pearls. Lucky for me, I’m a June baby and it’s my birthstone and I’ve amassed quite the collection over the past 48 years. One of the great things about pearl jewelry is that is never goes out of style and is always an heirloom classic.
Recently I was introduced to the gorgeous jewelry by designer Wendy Mignot. No one takes the classic white freshwater pearl out of its shell and into fresh, trending jewelry settings better than designer Wendy who for over a decade has been the leader in fashioning pearls found naturally in freshwater rivers and seas with naturally tanned and hand-rolled leathers.
We recently were on vacation down at the beach and let me tell you, I saw women everywhere sporting around freshwater pearl & leather jewelry. On top of that, almost every jewelry store I walked into…had this type of jewelry on display. That’s right ladies, this classic is once again…hot & trendy!
For this review, I received a complimentary freshwater pearl & leather bracelet to review for all of you. While on vacation, my mother & I (she’s shown in the photos) took turns wearing it. Okay I admit, she was trying to snatch it away from me because she loved the bracelet too!
The bracelet features 3 gorgeous pearls on the front of it and they are strung on a brown leather cord. The clasp in the back is a single pearl that hooks into a loop which fastens the bracelet closed. It sits very comfortably on your wrist and I do recommend that you size up a 1/4″ in size when ordering. Mine fits a little snug, but still very wearable, so that’s why I recommend sizing up.

I like the way the bracelet looks on your arm. I also like the color selection when I went to the Wendy Mignot web site. I appreciate that the clasp on the back of the bracelet uses a pearl too.
I really like this style. I like the simplicity and how it looks on. It looks natural and not overly flashy and can be worn many ways. It looks like your Mom loves it!

I have a few pieces of leather jewelry and tons of pearl bracelets, necklaces and earrings. I never thought to pair them together but I think I’ll try that! I like that they have have pearl and leather care on the Wendy Mignot web site too.
