I’ve been a crafter for over 30+ years and enjoy all different types of arts & crafts. I could sit for hours upon hours, whipping up a beautiful project. Then last year I was introduce to the adult coloring book craze and jumped on that as a way to relieve stress & to be creative at the same time. I love turning my paper artwork into something crafty like a scrapbooking page, a homemade greeting card, refrigerator magnets or into bookmarks for friends.
Brand new to the retail marketing and the first of it’s kind is an adult coloring book made specifically for those who love using watercolors. Here’s some information about it, it’s one of three books in this particular series.
Title: Painterly Days – The Pattern Watercoloring Book for Adults
Author: Kristy Rice
ISBN: 978-0-7643-5093-1
Publisher: Schiffer Publishing
Here’s what makes this adult coloring book different ~ It’s designs & patterns are printed onto sturdy watercolor paper! This means you can use your traditional colored pencils, markers, gel pens, etc. to do the designs but…if you are into watercolors, this book really shines!
The artwork & patterns are gorgeous, they are NOT cartoonish or strange at all. There are 25 double-sided pages…one design for practice and one design for keeps. Also included inside the book are 25 watercolor painting tips…great for beginners like me. If you hate the outlines in other books, they have “light” outlines that disappear as you paint. Plus, the pages inside the book tear-out easily too!
I can’t wait to sit down with some watercolor paints next month and work on some of the designs in this book. I can already see that I’ll be using the finished pages in some of my paper crafting projects: scrapbook pages & greeting cards. You can visit Schiffer Publishing to purchase this title, as well as thousand’s of other different books that they have to offer.
You can purchase the Painterly Days: The Pattern Watercoloring Book for Adults directly from Amazon for a really great price!

THis looks like a great way to practice watercolors and then use the pages in other projects. I am looking forward to seeing what you shall create out of these sheets.
