Every year we travel around the east coast visiting various zoos and wildlife parks. My husband and I both love animals and enjoy visiting zoos, so that we can learn more about them.
Several months ago we took a road trip to the great state of Ohio. It had been many years since we’ve visited Ohio and we were super excited to spend 5 days exploring the state.
During our trip we had the pleasure to visit the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo which is one of the nicest zoos in the entire state! If you’ve never visited this place, let me tell you…they have a very nice variety of animals for you to see.
We were able to see lions, tigers, bears, zebras, giraffes, a cheetah, elephants, gorillas, monkeys, orangutans, deer, koalas, turtles, fish, birds and all kinds of other animals. I was very pleased with what they had to offer!

Otters are super cute to look at and they’re very playful animals. However, if you ever get up close & personal to them…they have a nasty odor in my opinion! LOL I guess it’s all of that wet & muddy fur! With that said, I do enjoy watching them play!

I have never been to the Cleveland zoo, but I have seen otters at other zoos and it is fun to watch them play. I would love to travel and see other zoos.
(Otters at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo) I find Otters to be so interesting and funny to watch at the same time, beautiful creatures for sure.
I’ve never been to Cleveland & I haven’t been to a zoo in a really long time. I’d love to go visit a zoo again. The otters are cute!
I think otters are just the most cutest creatures ever. How awesome that they are at the Cleveland Zoo. I would love to go to this zoo to see them!
This does sound like a wonderful zoo. I haven’t been to a big zoo in decades! I’d love to see the critters like these, and take one of my nieces with me!
I love visiting zoos wherever we go to travel. And, I think otters are the cutest. Once we had the pleasure to see them teaching their young how to swim. They showed some tough love by tossing their babies back into the water whenever they tried to get out.
Otters have more fun than other animals. Never been to the Cleveland zoo.
