I found this post to be very interesting. I was not aware of some of these reasons for snoring. I like that there are throat exercises that can help a person with snoring.

  2. The only time I snore is when I have a bad cold and my nose is stuffed up. I’m not a mouth breather, in fact, a former teeth grinder, so glad I don’t have colds that often. I know a mouthpiece worked for my teeth grinding and I no longer do it, so I would recommend trying that for snoring to see if it works for you.

I snore. I would think too some of it just might be genetics. My Mom was a bad snorer as I am. I mean I am not quite as bad but she didnt have apnea, and no kidding you could hear her across the house. I am neither realy overweight or terribly unfit, I just snore. I think I do it when I am overtired the most.

  5. This post was really educational to read thank you for the great information. I have no idea that being overweight and unfit could cause snoring. I think I snore once in a while usually when I have a cold.
