We were sent the LoveMadeLove Floral Princess Dress with Polka Dots & Tulle to review for all of you. One of the things I love about this particular dress is that it could be worn year-round. During the spring, fall & winter months it can be worn with a shrug or cardigan along with a pair of tights underneath. During the summer months, it’s perfect all on it’s own.
This dress is sleeveless and is made from white taffeta with a bright floral print with tulle velvet polka dots overlay, black velvet ribbon and rich layers of tulle. Made by 100% polyester and 100% cotton lining. You’ll want to hand wash this dress to keep it looking nice.
The dress is fully lined with a cotton lining, so no slip is needed. The outer layer is a sheer mesh fabric with black velvet polka dots. The layer in-between the two is ruffled tulle which gives the skirting it’s fullness and flounce. The bodice has a zipper entry/closure for easy on and off.
This dress is just perfect for our Princess to wear on the first day of school (that’s our plan), to wear to church, on Easter, to a wedding and to special parties & events throughout the year. It runs true-to-size and I really like how this dress fits her body. One of the things she likes about it is that the skirting is “wider” so she can run, skip and sit comfortably while wearing it.
This girl’s party dress and/or back-to-school dress is exceptionally well-made! All of the seaming is straight, perfect stitching and not a single loose thread! It’s absolutely stunning and my photos don’t do it any type of justice! My Princess loves her new dress!
