The MedCenter System Monthly Pill Organizer

June 18, 2016 by Shelly

The MedCenter System Monthly Pill OrganizerHigher intakes of boiled, baked, or mashed potatoes, and French fries is associated with an increased risk of developing high blood pressure (hypertension) in adult women and men. High blood pressure medication is a condition that requires the patient to take medication every day without fail. Medication Compliance is one of the biggest issues in healthcare today which can lead to a number of complications. MedCenter Systems creates products that help users organize, alert and carry their medication to reduce the risk involved by not maintaining the proper medication regimen.

The MedCenter Organizer allows the user to organize a full month’s worth of medication or vitamins at a time. The Organizer features thirty-one individual pill boxes that can be removed and taken with you as needed or remain with the Organizer stand for ease of convenience. Pair the Organizer with the MedCenter Talking Clock and you have a complete monthly medication organizer and reminder system. Talking Clock sold separately.

The MedCenter System Monthly Pill Organizer

I take a LOT of medications for chronic pain, chronic infections, epilepsy, migraines, Porphyria and a whole host of other medical problems. At times, I get all confused on what I took, when I need to take such & such next and all of that jazz. Yes, I know I’m only in my late 40’s but trust me, it gets very confusing, so I am assuming it’s even harder for Seniors to keep it all straight!

As soon as I receive the unit…I read over the instructions & features and had it all set up in less than 30 minutes. I love the large digital display on the alarm & clock unit and I love how easy it is to use! If you’re worried about setting up the electronic portion of this, don’t be…it’s easy! Plus, you can use it with or without that feature.

Another great thing about it is the daily pillboxes which include 4 compartments: Morning, Noon, Evening and Bedtime sections. I spread out my medications from sunrise to sunset…so this makes it very easy to keep it all straight. At one end of the pillbox you’ll find it colored coded in green and the other end in red. Once you have taken all of your medications for that day, you flip the pillbox to the other color and place it back into your MedCenter organizer.  At a glance, you’ll be able to see that you’ve completed all of your medicines for that particular day.

I absolutely LOVE this thing! If I forget to take a medication, I am promptly reminded to do so with the alarm feature. The unit will even talk to you. For example:

“Good evening! Please take your night pills for the 20th. Beep Beep Beep.”

If you or a loved one needs help in keeping medications straight (not being mixed up) and/or need help with taking them on-time…the MedCenter System Organizer is definitely the way to go! You can learn more by visiting MedCenter Systems online.

I don’t think that the MedCenter Organizer would allow my husband to organize a full month’s worth of medication or vitamins at a time. He takes so many medications that I have made a list and help him take them at various times. I do like the timer and the way to turn the red around to green.

(The MedCenter System Monthly Pill Organizer) This pill organizer would work great for my client Ann that I cook and cleaner for. She is using the weekly pill organizer right now-

Goodness, now thats a pill box! Of all things I didn know potatoes cause higher hypertension- I have never heard that before. I have heard of course if you add others things, but not potatoes themselves. I am going to ask hubbys heart doctor as we eat tons of potatoes. If it is true I am cutting him down for sure.

I only take pills at night and morning so this is too much for me. I can see where it would be very useful for people who have to take lots of pills.

I’ve seen this company’s products before and was also impressed with all they had to offer. This would be good to set up if you’re a home caregiver and people need just a little help. It lets them be a little more independent and aware of the meds they’re taking.

I am so glad that you did this review. I so want to get this for a loved one. I love that there is an alarm and that it has compartments for different times of the day. The ones that I have seen are so basic we need this one. I went to their site and was amazed at how many different ones they offer.

Oh gosh! We need this. My husband had a heart attack and now he has a LOT of pills to take, and it is very hard to stay organized.
