Tessemae's All Natural Dressings and Marinades

For the past 6 months I’ve been telling you all how my husband and I have changed our eating habits by going more natural and eating cleanly. We made this choice to better improve our health and to help us both lose a little bit of weight.

While we all think about eating more organic and natural foods, how many of you have taken a look at your condiments? I mean really, have you read the labels on that stuff? Many of your condiments have preservatives, coloring and other not-so-healthy things added to them.

One area we definitely had to improve upon is our use of natural and organic condiments!

Let me introduce you to Tessemae’s All Natural who makes all natural and organic fresh dressings, marinades and condiments. The company launched in 2009 and is owned by three brothers named: Brian, Matt and Greg. They started their company by offering their products at their local Whole Foods Market in Annapolis, Maryland. From there…the product line and company has grown.

Tessemae’s All-Natural makes 25 marinades and condiments – all of which are USDA organic, gluten free, non-gmo, vegan and Whole30 approved – and contain no added sugar or xantham gum.

For this review we received 4 complimentary bottles of Tessemae’s All-Natural Dressings to try out for all of you. Since it’s grilling season, we had a blast using these on chicken as a marinade and on our salads as a dressing. If you love dipping bread, you can dip artisan bread in these dressings too!

Grilled Honey Balsamic Chicken

As I previously stated, we love to use our grill and use it at least 3 times a week to make our dinner. We decided to use the Tessemae’s All-Natural Organic Honey Balsamic Dressing & Marinade as a marinade for some chicken. I placed our chicken in a bowl and covered it in the Organic Honey Balsamic. Covered the bowl and refrigerated it for 8 hours. Hubby placed the marinated chicken onto the grill and grilled them for about 35-40 minutes or until they were done.

When it came time to sit down for dinner…we served the grilled chicken right along with some corn-on-the-cob and garlic mashed potatoes. The entire family RAVED about how delicious that grilled chicken was and let me tell you, it can’t get any easier to make a tasty dinner like that!

We’ve been using the Organic Green Goddess, Organic Balsamic and the Organic Lemon Garlic Dressing & Marinades on our salads and as bread dippers for the past 2 weeks and love them! Out of all 4 that we’ve tried, the Organic Honey Balsamic Dressing & Marinade is our favorite, but seriously, I would buy all 4 of them!

I live in the northeast, so we can buy Tessemae’s All Natural at our local Whole Foods Market, Stop N Shop and at Target. You can also purchase their products directly from Tessemaes.com.

I like the idea of dipping bread in them. I prefer that to putting butter on the bread. All the flavors sound great and I would love to try the honey balsamic or lemon garlic as a marinade.

I often make my own salad dressings because of all the additives in supermarket products. This line of products looks very good. I shall see if my Stop & Shop carries this line.

Yes, I do know of the ugly stuff that’s in many of the condiments on grocery shelves. I like making my own dressings & marinades so I know what’s in them.
