Playmates Toys, the company behind the popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line for decades, has several new offerings, including a new collection of products inspired by the new film that was just released on June 3rd, 2016 from Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. The movie toy line includes a broad assortment of products for Turtles’ fans of all ages, including action figures, vehicles, playsets, role-play gear and more.
Today we are highlighting a few of these new TMNT children’s toys!
Basic Action Figures
· The 5-inch basic action figures are highly detailed, fully poseable and uniquely sculpted to capture the personalities and distinctive appearance of the Turtles, allies and villains in the movie. Each figure comes equipped with its own unique accessories.
· The collection includes the four Ninja Turtles–Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo–as well as Stealth Leonardo, Pirate Michelangelo, Wingsuit Raphael, April O’Neil, Bebop, Rocksteady, Casey Jones, Foot Soldier, Kraang, Splinter and Shredder.
T-Sprints:
· An innovative new figure and wheels play pattern – the mighty, motorized mini T-Sprints can quickly take off on wild adventures–just rev, drop and go!
· The highly stylized figures, which capture the personalities of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, feature a unique flywheel so kids can rev them up, release and watch them go! The figure powers the vehicle too, just rev the T-Sprints figures, drop it into the vehicle shell and send racing into action!
· T-Sprints are available in a collectible assortment of Single Packs with Vehicles for a suggested retail price of $4.99 each.
Technodrome Playset
· When the Kraang rip through time and space to invade the city, their fearsome Technodrome threatens to destroy everything, forcing the Turtles to bring down the monstrous menace!
· The Technodrome playset opens to over two feet wide and is packed with play areas, trap doors and weapons!
· Includes two missile firing projectile launchers, a secret entrance and trap door slide that drops enemies into a jail.
My Thoughts: I have 2 grandchildren, a god son and 4 nephews who absolutely LOVE the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Matter of fact, since they first heard of the movie release a few months ago, they’ve been bugging us to take them to see the new movie (we will be doing that in about 2 weeks).
To go along with the movie release, we received 3 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-Sprints Action Figures to check out for all of you. We received the: Shellraiser Lickety-Split Leo, Party Van Mad-Motion Mikey and the ShreddedMobile SuperSonic Shredder which are all too cute!
The T-Sprints are actually a mini TMNT action figure that fits within it’s own little car. You can “rev” them and “race” them around a flat surface like a floor or sidewalk. No batteries are needed at all! The mini action figure can “rev” and “race” on his own too (without the included mini vehicle) which is like having two toys in one!
Summer is finally here and it’s nice to have “smaller” action figures & toys available for the kids. They are the perfect size for packing in luggage, travel bags, to take along in the car and so forth. They are light-weight and compact in size. On top of that, the T-Sprints are super affordable at a suggested retail price of $4.99 each. They would make GREAT Birthday party gifts or prize favors too! We are going to give my grand daughter and 2 nephews these TMNT toys on the day that we take them to see the new movie. Fun!
