I love to entertain, especially in the summer and I not only like to have beer and wine available to my guests, but I love to come up with a signature cocktail for the evening. I recently tried a bottle of SX Liquor’s Cha Cha Cha Tequila, which is one of the premium spirits that was launched in 2011 as part of a full line of Latin liquors from SX Liquor, which are all infused with sensual and exotic ingredients to deliver the ultimate taste experience.
The Cha Cha Cha tequila is 100% blue agave reposado tequila made in Mexico with just a hint of lemon and honey. What I like about this tequila is that it is very smooth, soft and doesn’t have the “bite” that I’ve experienced with other tequilas. You can definitely taste the lemon and honey, but it’s not overpowering. The Cha Cha Cha tequila was specifically designed for the female palette and it’s perfect for a girl’s night in or a fabulous Mexican-themed fiesta. To get the party started, SX recommends a recipe called Slow Motion that is simple, bold and allows the flavor of the tequila to be the star.
Slow Motion Recipe
• 2 ounces of SX Cha Cha Cha
• Lemon wedge for garnish
Directions: Add SX Cha Cha Cha to a rocks glass with several pieces of ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge, sip and enjoy!
You can also make a number of delicious cocktails from the Margarita to the Tequila Sunrise. Both are perfect for summer celebrations. I also have my personal favorite tequila drink, which is called the Paloma. Here’s the recipe for you:
Paloma Recipe
• 2 oz. Cha Cha Cha tequila
• 6 oz. grapefruit juice (I like it with pink grapefruit)
• Splash of club soda
• 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
• Salt or sugar for rimming (optional)
• Lime wedge or grapefruit slice for garnish (optional)
Directions: Rim glass with salt or sugar. Fill glass with crushed ice. Add the tequila and lime juice, and stir. Top off with grapefruit juice and soda. Stir again. Garnish and serve. Turn on some tunes and enjoy the party!
The SX Liquors Cha Cha Cha is available for under $40 and is available throughout the country at a variety of locations. You can find additional cocktail recipes right here on The Classy Chics blog.

The Paloma Recipe looks perfect for the Fourth of July Party I am throwing. I don’t drink tequila but my husband and our friends all love it. The recipe looks very refreshing for a hot late afternoon cocktail serves with nibbles.
I have never tried SX Liquors, but this tequila sounds like one I would enjoy. I would probably use orange juice and more lime in my drink since I don’t want to use grapefruit juice.
I’ve never tried the Paloma, but it sounds nice for a Summer party. I try it!
Loveeeee SX Liquors!!! The Cha Cha Cha specifically has that original tequila taste, but with a little bit of spice at the end to get rid of that cringe-worthy aftertaste. Not to mention, that bottle is SeXy 😉
