Kid’s Crafts and Pretend Play with Bramble Box
I love subscription boxes, especially boxes that are aimed at arts, crafts and pretend play. Every 2 weeks I have my grand daughter over at our home for a bi-monthly crafting with Nanny date. When we sit down to craft, we work on all kinds of different projects, many of which we feature here on Two Classy Chics under our Crafting with Kid’s category.
Recently we were introduced to Bramble Box which is a monthly subscription box for kids! These boxes contain arts & crafts to encourage pretend play. Every month a new theme’d box is delivered to the child’s home and includes all or almost all of the supplies that you’ll need.
Each subscription is customizable and you can set up what kind of themes that you would like delivered. Each box includes hands-on activities, full instructions, supplies and sometimes a great book! These subscription boxes make great Christmas gifts, Easter gifts, Valentine’s Day gifts, Birthday gifts or just-because gifts for any young child. Each one starts at just $24 per month.
If you’re new…you’ll receive a FREE welcome pack which includes a bottle of glue, crayons and a sticker activity book. Shipping is included to the U.S.A. and if you live in Canada, you’ll pay shipping, but it’s extremely reasonable. You can subscribe for 3, 6 or 12 months and you can cancel anytime before the next monthly box has been processed.
For our review we received the Pretend Flower Shop from Bramble Box and we absolutely LOVE it! Inside our box we received everything we needed to make a pretend flower shop! There were sheets of tissue papers, cupcake liners, chenille stems, flower pots, doilies, open/closed store sign, pretend money, business hours sign, a price list for the store and a box to decorate to hold the flowers.
One of the things I loved was the instruction book which includes easy-to-understand directions, photographs to help you make the flowers & supplies, etc. The FREE welcome pack was pretty cool too! All of the supplies that were included were quality-made.
We sat down with the Princess and got busy working on our tissue paper flowers and cupcake liner flowers which took us about 90 minutes to complete them all. You can make quite a few with the supplies that they included. After we were done with the flowers, she decorated the flower box and the flower pots. If you want to make even more flowers, you can go out and buy additional supplies and easily make them.
Once everything was done…she sat and played with her Pretend Flower Shop for 3 hours that very first day! She got out her own cash register and shopping cart which really enhanced her play time. Matter of fact, she has played with this set numerous times since we received it and loves it!
