How many of you are ready for Father’s Day? For once, I’m ready and prepared ahead of time! I went out two weeks ago and picked up a gift for my dad and one for my husband. My dad is pretty easy to buy for, but my husband is a different story! It took me days to find the perfect gift for him! (Can’t say what it is on the blog because he reads this blog!)

Anyway, today I’m sharing a fun and interesting Father’s Day infographic with all of you from the great folks over at Swagbucks!

What does dad want for Father’s Day? Well, fun facts, of course! Check out these cool facts from a survey of moms and dads, and then swing by Swagbucks to pick out your gift from his favorite stores!

Now that you’ve read it…what did you find interesting about it? Personally, There were better TV dads than Tim “The Toolman” Taylor for sure! Since my husband is a huge Star Wars fan…he would vote for Darth Vader, no doubt about that!  I do agree that dads forget about Mother’s Day more often than what the moms do…but, I find that dads are more forgetful to remembering anniversary dates even more!

Still need help shopping for dad? Now through Father’s Day, you can earn Double Cash Back or more at the following stores:

Walmart – 7 SB per $1
Macy’s – 6 SB per $1

Living Social – 4 SB per $1
And many, many more!

We like fun statistics and references in our family. This is great. Thanks! I had to laugh at the Dads are cool segment. My husband would go with Tim the Toolman…more power and cars. He’s there. It’s hard to buy for my husband, and normally just end up saying we will pay for parts for his car or tools that he picks out. While we take him out, earlier in the week to avoid crowds, Father’s Day is a quiet family day with calling in pizza and a movie. Happy Father’s Day to all…however you spend it or much you spend on it!

  2. My dad is in the minority then and doesn’t go for gifts at any time of the year, but I am sneaky and know he likes candy and sweets, so that is usually my gift. I’m from a small town or village really, so enjoyed Andy Taylor as the father figure to Opie. They still play his early shows, and later episodes of Matlock, on the oldies network here.

  3. All very fun and interesting. My vote would have been for Andy Taylor on The Andy Griffith show as best dad. Happy to say my husband usually gives us some hints on what he wants. Often we have bought some fun outdoor games that we can play as a family.

  4. I could always get my dad something around fishing: lures, vest, or whatever. He always used them.

Interesting statistics! I think men in particular will say dont get a gift but if you dont they do get hurt by it. I do know they hate ties. clothes etc, it should be something fun. Most people I know take Dad home and grill. This Fathers Day, it will have to wait, it falls on our anniversary!

I enjoyed reading this infographic on gifts and father’s day. I am surprised by the choosing of Darth Vader as a good father by some men. I am ready for father’s day for my husband.

  7. This was a fun post to read. I am not ready for Father’s Day yet. I do enjoy shopping for my dad. He likes techie stuff, clothes and dvds so it’s pretty easy. Oh he also loves yummy gift baskets.
