Chocolate Pretzel M&M Treats Recipe

June 21, 2016 by Shelly

Chocolate Pretzel Treats RecipeHow many of you enjoy eating chocolate covered pretzels? What about M&M candies? What if you combined the two? Well, that’s what I did and they’ve been a big hit with the family ever since! These Chocolate Pretzel M&M Treats are super easy-to-make and both kids and adults love them! They’re a big hit at our family gatherings too!

Chocolate Pretzel M&M Treats Recipe

1 bag of thin, small pretzels
1 bag of Hershey’s Kisses (Regular and/or Hugs)
1 bag of plain M&M’s
non-stick baking spray or aluminum foil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or lightly spray it with non-stick baking spray.

Place the pretzels on the baking sheet about 1″ apart. Place one unwrapped Hershey’s Kiss on the center of each pretzel. Place baking sheet into a preheated oven for 30 to 45 seconds, just long enough for the chocolate to get very soft, but don’t let it completely melt!

Remove baking sheet from the oven and let stand for 1 minute at room temperature. Push one or two M&M candies on top. Let stand at room temperature until cool. Store in an airtight container.

Note: If you love caramel, you can omit the chocolate and melt a caramel square on the top & then top it with the M&Ms.

This is a nice and special recipe. I like both pretzels and M&M’s, but I never thought to put them together. I cannot wait to make your special recipe. Thanks for sharing!

I have mad these before and they are adictive. I think it is the sweet and salty flavors. I made these at Christmas and used the red and green M&Ms and most were gone before I could wrap them for gift giving. I ended up making three batches!

Chocolate-covered pretzels are at the top of my snacks list–I love that salty-sweet combination. I made my own once, but it was a total mess, and took forever, too. I love the idea of just melting a Kiss on top of a pretzel! And adding an M&M on top? Brilliant! I am totally going to do this. Seems like lining the sheet pan with a Silpat would help keep the mess down, too. Thanks!

These are a nice idea! I’ve been having a thing for M&M’s lately, partly as they have been on sale. It would be fun to make these – so easy and a cute treat!

These would be good at my family reunion that is coming up this summer. I think I would make both the chocolate and the caramel. Thanks for the idea.

So cute, I love the sweet and salty of candy & pretzels. You could make these with jelly beans or anything!
