Pure Radiance Facial Sunscreen
Belli Pure Radiance Facial Sunscreen is a physical barrier, mineral SPF 25 with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. It’s oil-free and lightly tinted to blend with most skin types and may be worn alone for sheer coverage or under makeup. Sunscreen is important for everyone at any age or stage but is especially important for expecting moms. Sun exposure can result in unsightly discoloration and uneven skin tone. Pure Radiance Facial Sunscreen is allergy test, paraben free and has no artificial dyes or fragrances. Sara’s Thoughts
First and foremost I want to start by saying that I am not an expecting mother. However, I really care about my skin, especially not since I’m 30 years old. I realized that I had very poor habits when it came to my skin during my March 2016 facial (I couldn’t tell you the last time I had a facial prior). My aesthetician proceeded to lecture me on the importance of good skin care, so I’ve been paranoid ever since. So when given the opportunity to review sunscreen that has a mineral-based alternative to chemical sunscreens, I jumped on the opportunity. Who says you have to be pregnant to use Belli?
This past weekend (June 17th through Father’s Day June 19th), I had the perfect opportunity to test out this sunscreen. Friday I volunteered my time at a golf tournament, so I was going to be out in the sun ALL day long. I applied the sunscreen in the morning and took it along with me to reapply half way through the tournament. I also used it Saturday for my boyfriend’s son’s birthday party; it was outside in our backyard and we have zero shade. I also used it Sunday for Father’s Day; my sister had a cookout at her house and we were outside for most of the day. Now a little history about me…I have blonde hair and fair skin, so I burn very easily.
Pure Radiance Facial Sunscreen is the best sunscreen that I have ever used (and I’ve used a lot). Not only does it smell really good, but it doesn’t irritate my skin like regular sunscreens do. It’s also compatible with my skin tone and works great with my makeup. It also actually works, which means that I don’t need to worry about caking on SPF 30 or SPF 50 multiple times a day which I’ve done in the past. I only had to apply the sunscreen maybe twice a day…which saves on sunscreen (although with Pure Radiance, a little bit goes a LONG way).
This sunscreen is just overall healthier for you than those you find in your local department store or pharmacy. It’s lightweight, oil-free, hydrates the skin, recommended by OB/GYNs and Dermatologists across the country. It’s a bit pricey ($24 for 1.5 oz bottle), but completely worth it if you care about your skin as much as I do.
