I’m so glad that the weather is heating up and that we can spend more time outdoors. We love to invite friends & family over during the summertime and cook & entertain outdoors. When we host “adult only” gatherings, we love to serve some fruity cocktails like the one we are featuring today here on the blog.
The cocktail recipe is courtesy of Nielsen-Massey and features their brand new Rose Water as an ingredient. Rose Water from Nielsen-Massey is an elegant steam distillate of rose petals. With multiple uses around the home, in recipes, and as part of a regular beauty regimen, Rose Water is the perfect way to welcome summer’s traditional outdoor fun and opportunities for relaxation.
Strawberry Rose Water Mojito Recipe
Nielsen-Massey Strawberry-Rose Syrup
8-9 large strawberries, stemmed, rinsed and sliced
1 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Tahitian Pure Vanilla Extract
1/8 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Rose Water
1/4 cup sugar
Add syrup ingredients to a small food processor and pulse until smooth; set aside. This recipe makes enough syrup for four Strawberry-Rose Mojitos.
Yield About 1 Cup
Strawberry-Rose Mojito
15-20 fresh mint leaves
2 1/2 fl. oz. Strawberry-Rose Syrup
2 1/2 fl. oz. white rum
1 fl. oz. fresh lime juice
club soda
1 lime wedge
Muddle mint leaves in a tall glass. Add Strawberry-Rose Syrup, white rum, lime juice and lots of ice. Top with club soda and a freshly squeezed lime wedge; stir and serve immediately. (makes one serving)

The Nielsen-Massey Rose Water is something I’d like to try. I can’t wait to see what I come up with using their chocolate extract. I’ll have to look again at all those great recipes on their site.
I enjoy rose water and I know I’d like this drink. I’d just make it without the rum.
I have never tried a mojito but I think I would like it. This recipe sounds super refreshing and relaxing and one I have to try for a summer get together. The recipe looks nice and easy and one I can follow thanks for sharing this one and hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
I did not know that Nielsen-Massey makes a rose water. I shall have to order it and try it in different recipes, not just in drinks. This mojito drink should be delicious.
These drinks are so pretty and sound soo good! I’ve never tried rose water or rose syrup – I must try this! It would be perfect for so many occasions!
