Peachy Keen Cocktail Recipe

May 29, 2016 by Shelly

Peachy Keen Cocktail RecipeAs a child, I remember picking fresh peaches off my grandmother’s peach tree in the backyard every summer. She would use those fresh peaches to make homemade cobblers, fruit salads and in various beverages, like a good old-fashioned peach iced tea. Needless to say, that started my love for peaches, especially during the summertime months. Do you have a favorite peach recipe? If so, tell us about it in our blog’s comment form below.

Today’s guest post recipe is courtesy of Santa Margherita Wine. You can visit their website to learn more about them and their products. This cocktail recipe would be fabulous to whip up and serve at your summer cocktail parties!!!

Peachy Keen Cocktail Recipe

Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore
3 fresh peaches, pitted and halved
½ fresh ginger, chopped
3 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
3 cups crushed ice

Place peaches, sugar, lime juice, ginger and Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore in blender, blend at medium speed until smooth. Add ice to the blender and process. Serve immediately.

I picked fresh peaches from one of the many peach trees in my grandfathers garden. Nothing tastier. My mom would make peach cobbler. Great memories.

I dont normally drink but this I would try. Fresh peaches is one of my favorite things. I too remember picking them right off the tree. We used to sit and eat so many we would be sticky from all the juice running down! Now I want a peach tree !

l love to bake a peach pie during peach season, so I shall be making one soon. Sometimes i use a little cardamon in the recipe. On vry hot days I bake the pie crust separately and then add the cooked peach mixture.
