As we age…our skin takes on many different changes. We can get red blotches, dark age spots, more freckles and a whole host of other undesirable changes. Now that I’m in my 40’s, I’m pretty much seeing them all.
Over the years I’ve tried many different foundations and concealers to help hide my imperfections. Some of them have worked great and others…well, not so much! Some of them have been very expensive and some have been very affordable.
Well, I’ve got a new favorite foundation to tell you about today and I absolutely LOVE the results that I’m getting. Let me introduce you to the Osmosis + Colour CC Cream Color Correcting Foundation. It softens, lifts and illuminates your skin.
Osmosis Colour CC Cream is a natural-looking color correcting makeup transforming your skin. Offering UV protection and reducing age spots while giving it a bright even tone with lifting and hydrating benefits.
True Tone Technology features natural makeup encapsulated in micro-capsules that burst to provide perfect pigments that transform into your own skin tone when applied. The product comes packaged in a tube with a pump applicator on the top. A little bit of this product goes a long way!
For application, start out with a small amount. I pump it out onto my fingertip and then apply it to my skin. I then smooth it out with either my one make-up brush or with my make-up sponge, both work well for application. If you want more coverage, apply more of the product. They also recommend that you try a color slightly darker than your natural skin tone and then top it off with pressed or loose base (powder) for more coverage.
I’ve been using the CC Cream Color Correcting Foundation for approximately 2 weeks now and absolutely LOVE it! I get really good coverage with this product and I love that it stays put all day long. It does a great job at covering up my age spots, dark under-eye circles, red blotches and any blemishes that I may have. It gives my skin a beautiful even skin-tone which I just love!

I have heard of these type products but havent given them a try. They do make sense. I am wondering though how drying it is? I know my skin has dried out a whole lot more. I have to either nix the foundation completely or hope it doesnt make the wrinkles look worse!
This Osmosis Colour – CC Cream Color Correcting Foundation sounds like a great product. This is the first time I have heard of it. I love how it has UV protection in it and that it both lifts and brightens your skin. I also appreciate that you do not need to use a lot of it.
I have never heard of this product until I read about it on your blog. My skin is changing so fast and now I am see all kind of spots and dots and you name it. I sure would like to try this product as I am not happy with the product that I have been using. Thanks for sharing this one and have a great day.
