Just in time for summer, Unilever Ice Cream recently announced the newest additions to its lineup of frozen novelties for 2016! These new treats are inspired by nostalgic favorites – like fresh-baked cookies, birthday cake and s’mores!
Perfect for those hot summertime days, Breyers, Good Humor, Klondike, MAGNUM Ice Cream and Popsicle have all reimagined popular flavors and favorite desserts as frozen treats, a few of which include:
· Breyers Gelato Indulgences Salted Caramel: Includes salted caramel gelato with a creamy caramel sauce and gourmet salted caramel truffles. Additional new flavors include Peanut Butter, Hazelnut and Chocolate Truffle.
· Breyers Ice Cream Cake: Features Breyers Chocolate Ice Cream and loads of chocolatey crunchies, sandwiched between Breyers Natural Vanilla Ice Cream, the perfect treat for even the smallest occasion.
· Good Humor Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Sandwich: Features creamy chocolate ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate cookies with milk chocolate chips.
· Klondike S’mores: Features creamy marshmallow ice cream laden with sweet graham cracker swirls inside a delightfully breakable milk chocolate flavored shell. All you need is a campfire!
· MAGNUM Double Raspberry: Features refreshing raspberry ice cream, raspberry sauce, and a crackling coating made with rich, Belgian chocolate.
· Popsicle Tropical Paradise: From the original summertime treat, this Popsicle variety includes four refreshing tropical flavors: Mango, Strawberry-Banana, Island Punch and Pineapple.
We recently went out and picked up a box of the Popsicle brand Disney Frozen Mini Popsicles that my little 7 year old grand daughter absolutely LOVES! These mini popsicles come in berry, cherry and raspberry flavors. You get 20 of them per pack. Each pop is only 15 calories and as a grandparent, I appreciate that! We really loved the flavor of these ice pops and I love that they are in a mini-size.
We also picked up a box of the Klondike Sandwiches in the Classic Vanilla flavor. These are like your classic ice cream sandwiches, but so much better! You get 6 of these per package and each ice cream sandwich is 180 calories. We have always loved ice cream sandwiches, but trust me…you haven’t had a good one until you’ve tried this particular brand!
We looked at our local grocery store for the new flavors and varieties of ice cream and popsicles, but they didn’t have the new flavors in just yet. That’s okay though, I’ll be checking for them every week when I do my regular grocery shopping.

I can’t wait to try the new flavors. It is just getting warm enough to try these out. I miss the warm weather this spring, but I hope to try them all summer long.
I love popsicles and eat them all summer long. The sugar-free are a low-calorie treat.
I love ice cream and all of these new flavors sound delicious to me. I also like the lower fat ice creams or gelatos. I want to try the Breyers ice cream cake flavor first.
I love Breyer’s Tiramisu Gelato. I picked up their raspberry cheesecake gelato the other day to try.
I love Klondike Bars! The toffee flavor are my favorite, I think. And the Breyer’s Gelato is really good, too.
I am going to have to get some of these awesome new Ice Cream and Popsicle flavors for Spring and Summer. It looks so delicious and I want a Klondike bar right now!

Breyers Gelato Indulgences Salted Caramel is one I have wanted to give a try. Hubby is the ice cream fiend more than me, although I do like gilato. During his radiation treatments, he must have eaten a case of Klondikes! I like all the new flavors Klondike is putting out their Reeses is awfully good.
