Every Monday, we love to share some of the neat things we got in our mailbox the previous week and we encourage all of you to tell us about the special things you got too! These special things can be gifts you received, special greeting cards or giveaways you won on the web! What about all of the freebies that showed up?
Shelly – Wow! I can’t believe it’s May 9th already! Anyway, I got a few things in my mailbox last week. First, a friend of mine sent me 2 dozen Tulip bulbs for Mother’s Day and I’ll be planting them this weekend in one of my flower beds. Super nice, I just adore my friend! Next, I got a bunch of FREE product coupons from Garden Lites for participating in a blogger campaign. I’ve been wanting to try their products, but in the past I’ve had issues finding them around here. I’ll have to look for them again when I go to the grocery store this weekend. Have you ever tried any of the Garden Lites products yet?
So, what kind of giveaway wins, freebies, samples, gifts, etc. arrived in your mailbox last week? Please…don’t mention those nasty bills or junk mail that we all get! Ugh!
Shelly–good luck trying to find the Garden LItes anywhere. I’ve been searching for weeks, and even visited a few healthy food store chains I’ve never been before. No luck finding it but it doesn’t expire until the end of the year, so will keep searching. I also could not find Organic Balance protein shakes for a freebie coupon, and a Back to Nature cracker or cookie coupon from Target. You think Target would have them in stock since it was there coupon! I almost forgot about a sweet book I won last week called The Origami Garden by Ioana Stoian. I put it under a heavy box to flatten it out since the postal carrier bent it a bit. No damage thankfully and can’t wait to make some origami projects!! It’s a lovely book with origami paper included!
I only received some free samples and coupons this past week – a nice size bottle of Truvia nectar with honey, 2 samples of Shea Moisture Smoothie and 2 HippoSak 13 gal trash bags. My Rite Aid had some good items in the clearance section, for 75%or more off , so I purchased them.
Garden Lites is new to me. Free coupons are always a great way to try new products. And how thoughtful of your friend to send tulip bulbs! What a nice gift.
My mailbox was empty all week long (except for those things we don’t talk about in these Mailbox Monday posts). I’m hoping for better luck this week. 🙂
(Mailbox Monday – Week of May 9th) I had a wonderful weekend with two of my sons, their wives, and my grandson over Mother’s Day weekend. I received two children’s books in the mail this past week that I had won for my grandson.
My big prize this week was a super cool Smart Nest Learning Thermostat. I also got a $10 Amazon GC and a recipe book from Sue Bee honey.
Hope you all had a nice mother’s day what a fast day that was. I received a Chicken Soup for the Soul book in the mail called Hope and Miracles. I can’t wait to read this book. Hope you have a great week. The weather sure is changing fast here this week it is going to hit 90 degrees I am so not ready for that. Seems like the older I get the more I can’t handle the heat I love it when it is about 75 degrees.
