We do a lot of traveling and every once in awhile…I get a sunburn on my face and/or shoulders. I’m really good about putting on sunblock, but often I forget to re-apply it or it comes off while I’m in water and I still get sunburn. Once the burn kicks in…I want relief and I want it fast.
Let me introduce you to Comfortcaine Instant Sunburn Relief from Key West Aloe. This product helps to soothe and relieve sunburns, insect bites, or even psoriasis with Comfortcaine, made with 94% aloe vera and 4% lidocaine designed to cool & comfort irritated skin.
To Use: Apply generously to clean irritated skin.
About 2 weeks ago I was out in the yard helping husband get the pool opened up for the season and doing some gardening. I had applied my sunscreen before I went out for the day, but had forgotten to re-apply it later on. As you can imagine…I had some sunburn later that evening and needed some instant relief.
I applied the Comfortcaine onto my skin and gently massaged it in. It’s a gel formula and absorbs super quickly. I really like that it’s not greasy nor oily, and felt very nice on my irritated skin. You can store the product in your refrigerator and apply it once its very cold onto your skin too, which feels even better! Plus, there are no foul odors with this product at all.
The Comfortcaine Instant Sunburn Relief Gel from Key West Aloe is my new best friend during the summertime! I can use the product to treat sunburn, bug bites, minor rashes, etc. You can learn more about the product when you visit the company’s website online.

This would certainly come in handy for me. I try to do my best to remember sunscreen but sometimes go out with the grandkids or get carried away working in my yard and forget. I have had a few bad burns and hope not to repeat the mistake but looks like this is good for insect bites too.
I use Aloe for all my irritations that burn & Itch! I love the soothing effect it has on my skin..:) Key West Aloe Comfort Cain is definitely my type of product! I will get some next time I go to the Store! Thankyou also for the tip of storing it in the refrigerator! Putting it on cold sounds wonderful!
I bet this would come in handy at some point this Summer. And I never thought of storing it in the fridge! That is genius!
This would be convenient to have as one product, especially when you travel like you do. Currently I use my aloe vera gel and if needed, use a lidocaine-based product for pain. I haven’t burned from the sun in a long, long time, but had an oven burn that it helped. A very small bottle of this would probably last me a long time.
I know that aloe is good for sunburns and lidocaine is good for hurts so the combination would be good. I like the suggestion of keeping it in the fridge to make it cool when you put it on.
This sounds divine, all the best sun damage care is aloe based I think.
I love using aloe vera and combining it with lidocaine is marvelous. This is definitely a gel I want to have in stock in my house, especially since it is neither oily nor greasy.
This does sound very soothing and effective. I keep sunscreen with me all the time, for myself and others, but I would love to have this for those who end up burned and not having fun. Nice find!!!
