Select a powder blush that contains a slight shimmer. Start by applying the blush to the apples of your cheeks. Then slightly extend under the cheek bones.

Lightly dust Makeup Revolution USA’s Vivid Shimmer Brick in Radiant on the top of your cheekbones; the light will naturally reflect off of it. You can opt to mix all of the tones together for a multidimensional glow or you can pick and choose one by one for the desired effect.

Besides the cheekbones, you can add shimmer down the nose, between your eyebrows, or on your temples and chin.

For the eyes, sweep product on the lids and around the corners. For an enhanced eye, add the lighter tones under the brow bone.

Revolution Makeup Bronzer Compact

Tips from Shelly: You can apply bronzers with a make-up brush, your fingertips or use a cotton pad. You should only apply a bronzer and do your highlighting with proper lighting. Try putting your make-up on near a sunny window or invest in proper “white” lighting for your bathroom. Always make sure you start with a clean & dry face and when the day is over…remember to remove all of your make-up which helps to prevent breakouts. Finally, I own a lot of the make-up from this company and it has always been gentle on my sensitive skin and it removes easily with some soap & water.

My Thoughts: I received a complimentary Makeup Revolution USA’s Vivid Shimmer Brick in Radiant Compact to try out for all of you and instantly fell in-love with it. One of the things I love about this compact is that I can use all of those shades on my face to give myself a sun-kissed glow, to contour my cheekbones and to add highlights. With that said, I love it even more when I use the make-up on my eyes! These shades are great for a natural eye make-up look and work with any skin-tone. Plus, the make-up stays on until I take it off!

I’ve applied this particular makeup onto my face using make-up brushes and at times, I’ve used my fingertips too! It’s really easy to blend together 2 or more shades for a customized look. I have sensitive skin and I’ve had no issues or breakouts when I use the cosmetics from Makeup Revolution.

Note: I had some serious oral surgery earlier this month and ended up severely swollen, bruised and well…a mess. Once the swelling comes down & the bruising goes away, I’ll update this post with a photo of myself wearing the make-up.

  1. I love bronzer and sure need to get some new before summer. I am finally learning to stay out of the sun so I am all about using bronzer. Sure hope your mouth is feeling better that surgery sounded pretty intense.

  2. I do like the shades in the bronzer. I also would try it on my eyes. Hope your mouth is getting better.

    • Thanks Sarah. It’s coming along. I can finally have soft foods! I lost 9 1/2 lbs. in the past two weeks. The remaining sutures come out the end of the week and then I plan on enjoying a good grilled steak.

Oh, I like this a lot. I am usually pale as a ghost because I stay out of the sun (I already had one skin cancer, not looking for another!). But I do love the “sun-kissed” look. I also like multi-taskers, and this is it. As a bronzer, on the nose, even on the eyes. Going to check it out, summer will be here soon! PS… Hope you’re feeling better from the oral surgery, I know how miserable that can be. ((((((HUGS)))) – gentle ones.

    • Thanks Sandy, I’m coming along. I’ve tried it several times as an eye shadow and really LOVE it for a natural look.

This looks like a great MakeUp compact. Since it does not cost much and can be blended together so easily it should be perfect for daily use.

  5. ooh this looks really nice. I love using bronzer in the summer, and have just started thinking about it. The product I got used to got discontinued – I should give this a try!

This looks like something I would like. The colors look subtle & blendable. And I don’t blame you for waiting to take photos…I once had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled/cut out at the same time. I looked like a squirrel storing nuts in my cheeks, lol!
