Our dog Nellari is part Siberian Husky and part Pit Bull. We adopted her when she was 8 weeks old and she’s now approaching the age of 8 years. Now that she’s older, she seems less excited about physical activity. I don’t know if she’s just bored or if it’s because she’s an older dog, but she needs to be challenged when it comes to exercise.
The PAW5 Rock ‘N Bowl is a great way to turn meal time into an enriching and rewarding challenge for your dog! What looks like a standard bowl is actually a unique puzzle feeder that will have your dog thinking, problem solving and having fun all at once.
The bowl is really easy to use. You’ll simply pour your dog’s dry food into the top of the bowl and it will fall down into the hidden compartment underneath. Your dog will then have to paw at the bowl, rock it back & forth, etc. to get the food to come out. I guess you could call it a feeding bowl and dog toy…all wrapped up into one.

A few days after we received this product we started putting some of Nellari’s dry food into it once a day. The first few times she gave it a few sniffs and would walk away. However, once my husband demonstrated things to her and showed her how fun it would be to get her food out of this dish, she caught on pretty quickly.
We use it as a fun game/toy with her and once a day, we’ll put her dry food into it. It keeps her busy for about 20 minutes until she has the bowl emptied and all of her food eaten. I like that it gives her something to do and it gives her a little bit of exercise at the same time.

I read that with the Rock’n Bowl what looks like a standard bowl is actually a unique puzzle feeder.
Of the colors pictured we like the yellow. There is no way to tell from the site if there are other colors and in fact if you attempt to purchase by putting the product in the cart the only choice is blue.
