I’m a coffee addict and I’m not afraid to admit it. Matter of fact, I can’t start my day without a good cup of coffee. I love to drink coffee throughout the morning hot and then during the afternoon hours I love a good iced flavored coffee. On top of that, I love making those “brewed over ice” iced teas during the summer and I love using a brewer to make hot cocoa during the winter.
We have 2 full-time and 1 part-time adults living in our household and all three of us drink hot coffee and/or hot tea. Having a brewer that can accommodate all different kinds of coffee, tea and hot cocoa is important to me, especially a brewer that takes k-cups.
The OPUS brewer features SpinBrew spinning jets technology for a smoother tasting coffee plus the exclusive Dial-A-Brew control to customize the strength and size from 4 ounces up to 12 ounces in size. The OPUS has a 75 ounce water reservoir, removable drip tray for easy cleaning, energy-saver feature and automatic shut-off.
One of the things I absolutely love about this machine is the large LED display screen. I can easily see it and I don’t have to put my glasses on. Second, I LOVE that SpinBrew Technology which is their patent-pending needle that uses jets to spin, steam and stir inside every K-compatible cup, creating a mini french press effect that virtually eliminates any bitter aftertaste. No other K-Cup brewer can do that!
Another thing I love about this brewer is that it has a large water tank on the side. It holds plenty of water for multiple cups of coffee and I love that the tank is “clear” so that I can easily see how much water is in there and if I need to refill it. If you don’t have enough water in it…your brewer will alert you to add more water to it. Love that!!!
If you love a certain brand of coffee or don’t want the expense of always buying K-Cups you can use their exclusive iCup Reusable which is the only reusable coffee filter that works with the SpinBrew needle in the OPUS brewer. What this means is that if you love a certain ground coffee you don’t have to switch over to pre-packaged K-cups. While I don’t use this feature often, it’s nice to have it when I’m reviewing ground coffee or if I temporarily run out of my K-cups.
Over the past 4 years or so I’ve owned several different models of Keurig machines, a Tassimo and now the OPUS Dial-A-Brew Single Serve Brewer. Out of all of the machines that I’ve owned I can honestly 100% tell you that this brewer is the BEST one that I’ve ever used!!! This coffee brewer has all of the bells and whistles that you would want in a high-quality coffee brewing machine and then some! Once you try this machine, I think you’ll be so pleased that you’ll kick your other machines out to the curb. Seriously, that’s how much I love this brewer!

I would brew all 3, coffee in the morning, tea in the evening and cocoa anytime and our grandchildren love cocoa.
