I got busy using the Pura Naturals Kitchen Sponge right away. I do a lot of cooking & baking every day, so that’s one room in my home that needs a constant cleaning.
I used the kitchen sponge to clean my range hood and backsplash and was really impressed at how quickly & easily it removed dried-on grease splatters and grime. I then used it to wipe down the top of my range, counter-tops and the front of my appliances. As I moved around the kitchen, I would rinse out the sponge in-between my cleaning tasks.
One thing that I was very impressed with was how quickly & easily it cleaned out all of the gunk that had splattered inside my microwave! Oh my gosh, that’s usually a real pain to clean, but this sponge cleaned that mess up within a minute! In addition, I love that all of the gunk rinses from this sponge under normal running tap water and no stinky odors were left behind.
The Pura Naturals Household Sponge Soap & Scrubber got the workout cleaning my 3 bathrooms which I clean every week, sometimes twice a week if they’re getting used a lot or get messy. This sponge has the infused soap in it and a scrubber pad that’s made from crushed walnuts. Don’t let that scare you, it didn’t scratch anything in my bathroom at all. They do recommend that you test this sponge out on a small area to make sure it won’t scratch your surfaces first, but I had no problems with that at all.
I used this sponge to clean the porcelain sinks, bathtub, tiled showers, outside of the toilet, etc. It quickly and easily removed all of the dirt, grime and get this, even my hard water stains were gone! In addition, all of the soap scum in the tub and showers came right off while I used this sponge too! It made cleaning the bathrooms quick work! Yay!

I like that it has a scrubber pad but that it is gentle enough to not scratch surfaces. Getting the hard water stains out is always a challenge and I don’t like using harsh products so this sponge is something I will be looking for on my next visit to CVS.
This is the first time I have heard of these sponges and they sound great. I love that they are natural.made in the USA and stronger than most other sponges as well as not becoming foul smelling.
I have to try these and soon. I had never heard of them until I read about them on your post. I too love natural products and I go through a ton of sponges.
Oh, yeah, now you’re talking! I like natural cleaning things, not the fumes that choke the life out of us! We are all allergic here anyway, and pollen season is upon us. *Cough, cough* Walnut based? That sounds good to me! And yes, I’m with on the microwave – NOT my favorite chore! And although we don’t really do much entertaining, we still have to keep the apartment clean for ourselves.
