Mother’s Day is a couple of weeks away and it’s time to starting thinking about the Mother’s Day gifts that we’ll need. I’m very fortunate that my mother is still with us and that she’s my very best friend!
I’ve always been close to my mother, even as a young child. She was a single mom who raised my brother and I without any help from my dad. Matter of fact, we were lucky if we heard from my Dad twice a year and he certainly didn’t help her out financially at all.
To survive, my mom worked hard…most of the time she worked 2 jobs just to keep a roof over our heads and food in our tummy’s. She was no slacker and was a hands-on mom! If we were sick, she was there. If we had a school function or athletic game…she was there. I don’t know how she did it all, but she did!
My mother taught me all about hard work and taking care of your family. Even to this day with me being chronically ill, my mother is still here helping to take care of me. I’m so proud to call her my mom!
When I can, I like to treat my mother to special little things throughout the year. We take her on vacation with us, out to dinner, to art fests & museums and all kinds of other things. In addition, I like to spoil her a few times a year with a delivery of a fresh floral bouquet which always puts a smile on her face.
Teleflora recently delivered to me the gorgeous Garden Pitcher Bouquet (shown below) and I got to give it to my mom! She was super surprised about this because Mother’s Day is a few weeks away, so she got it early!
All of Teleflora’s bouquets are professionally-arranged and hand-delivered by a local florist rather than arriving in a box or assembled in a warehouse. A number of their Mother’s Day bouquets come in one-of-a-kind keepsake containers that mom can use long after the flowers are gone. In this case, she got a beautiful ceramic pitcher that has a lovely floral print on it. She plans on using it as a planter.
I love ordering from Teleflora and have done so for many years. I love that whatever I order is hand-arranged and delivered by a local company. This ensures that you’re getting a fresh, quality product. In addition, I think their designs are gorgeous and very unique.
Now is the time to start thinking about the Mother’s Day gifts and Mother-in-Law gifts that your going to need. You can visit Teleflora online to see all of their gorgeous gifts and current specials that they’re offering. You can connect with the company on Facebook too!
While your visiting their site, make sure you check out the Deal of the Day and join the Teleflora Rewards Club where you can earn discounts and free bouquets!
Mothers are very special and I’m glad that I was able to give this bouquet to my mom and bring a smile to her face. How will you be celebrating Mother’s Day this year?

What a beautiful tribute to your mom. How lucky you are to have each other and I bet she loves that you spoil her but most of all your heartfelt appreciation for her hard work as a single parent. All of the arrangements are so pretty it would be difficult to pick just one.
My Mother is n longer here… and like your Mom she was a hard worker. She worked 2 jobs, but made sure we were fed and clothed and she had 4 of us. She worked at Head Start when it very first started and retired from there and also worked as a CNA nights and retired there too. Looking back I dont see how she did it, but times were different. We played outside and came in when the streetlights came on.
I wish I could give her flowers she could see, but I will always remember her.
Wow I love every one of those pictured, especially the Teleflora’s Butterfly Sunrise Bouquet. My mom and I like butterflies and I plan on sending her an origami butterfly with her card this year, but I should send some flowers too. I know she would love them.
I love the Garden Pitcher bouquet that you received and then gave to your mom. It has such a beautiful combination of blue-violet,pinks and white flowers. I also love that you will have a pitcher you can use later.
(Mother’s Day Gifts from Teleflora #OneToughMother) Teleflora has such a nice big selection of beautiful flowers to pick from for any Mom on Mother’s Day.
These are so beautiful and bright and cheery. I would love to get one of these for my mother for mother’s day. I love having fresh flowers in the house there is just something about it that makes me feel happier. I will have to go to their site and pick something out this year thanks for sharing and have a nice day.
I LOVE flowers. Totally love them! I used to buy flowers for my old aunt every Mother’s Day and on her birthday, but sadly she passed in December (96 years old, a good age). My own mother claims to be allergic to flowers, and we live together (with my brother), but this year I am treating MYSELF to a nice bouquet from Teleflora. My favorite of all their arrangements is called “Fashionista Blooms” – just stunning! And they will go in my room so my mom won’t sneeze. : )
