Glade Fresh Citrus Blossoms Fragrance Products

Glade Fresh Citrus BlossomsI’ve been using various home fragrance products from Glade in my home for the past few decades. I’ve always enjoyed how easy their products are to use and the wonderful fragrances that they’ve had over the years.

Unlike the majority of fragrance companies out in the retail marketplace, the new Glade® Fresh Citrus Blossoms fragrance line, is the first product collection to disclose 100 percent of its fragrance ingredients, down to the component level. No surprises! The SC Johnson’s newest product collection offers 100% fragrance transparency!

As we all seen in the past, the industry standard is to disclose natural fragrances or essential oils as a single item – for example listing just rose oil, grapefruit or lilac leaf. But the fact is that these are complex mixtures of tens or even hundreds of chemical components that are not disclosed.

Like all fragrances, natural fragrances are made up of components such as acids, aldehydes, esters, ketones and terpenes. But they’re essentially a black box for consumers. They can even contain chemicals listed on California Proposition 65. This doesn’t mean they’re unsafe, the concentrations of these components are so low they pose little if any threat.

The new Glade® Fresh Citrus Blossoms fragrance products are carefully crafted from individual components. All are nature-inspired, most are nature identical and all pass SC Johnson’s rigorous screening criteria. resh Citrus Blossoms is created intentionally, so that the company can choose which componenets and how much of them to include or exclude in their products with no surprises!

Glade Fresh Citrus Blossoms

I was recently given the opportunity to try out three of the new Glade® Fresh Citrus Blossoms fragrance products and I have to admit…I love their fresh and clean scent. Matter of fact, my husband has been using the Glade Spray in the Citrus Blossoms fragrance in his office. They’ve been having some construction work going on and he can’t stand the odors from that. This is one fragrance that every member who works in the office can agree upon.

I’m a big user of scented wax melts and I’ve been using the Glade Wax Melts in one of my wax melter units that I have in our living room. I love that when I walk into the room that everything smells fresh and clean. You really don’t smell anything that is over-powering at all and nothing that smells like perfume!

My daughter and I both use Glade plug-in warmer units and we’ve both been using the Fresh Citrus Blossoms fragrance oils in those. She keeps hers down in their family room which is located in the basement and I have mine out in our Florida room which was smelling a little musty to me from being closed up during the winter months. Now that room smells fresh & clean again.

I believe every consumer has the right to use whatever products they want to use in their own homes. Some people may prefer 100% natural and organic items and others see nothing wrong with using products that may or may not contain chemicals.

Wow, this sounds like it smells nice! We need something like this because the air is so stale here. We can’t open the windows cause the 8-lane LIE os RIGHT outside. I’d use everything but the plug-in warmer, because we are short on outlets. But I have a friend who would love that, and she has outlets to spare.
