Hubby and I love to travel and luckily for me…my main job affords us a lot of traveling pleasure. We love to visit a wide variety of places but particularly love exploring Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and New York. Yup, we do enjoy running around the northeast!
If you ever get the chance to visit Philadelphia we highly recommend a visit to The Franklin Institute. The Institute and Museum has all kinds of great activities for the entire family to enjoy. You can check out their rotating exhibits, live science shows, participate in discovery camp, visit the planetarium, the train factory and more!
When visiting The Franklin Institute you’ll want to stop by the Ben Franklin Memorial where you can learn about Philadelphia’s most famous resident, Ben Franklin which is located in the rotunda. This memorial is absolutely a must-see when visiting the institute!
We recommend setting aside at least 3 hours when visiting The Franklin Institute so that you can take in many of the activities and exhibits that they have to offer. It’s definitely not a place that you can see & do in just an hour. Nope, you’ll need to spend several hours to really experience it all.
Well, there you have it! My “almost” Wordless Wednesday travel photo for this week. Have you ever visited the institute or seen the Ben Franklin Memorial before?
This is another site I would love to see. I admire Benjamin Franklin and would love to learn more about him and see his museum./ institute.
I would love to see this & I didn’t even know about it! It’s definitely going on my list of places to see.
