Anti-Aging Serum Toner to Hydrate and Revitalize the Skin

April 28, 2016 by Shelly

Le Mieux Essence TonerI’ve been using a facial toner on my face since I was 18 years old. One of the reasons I started using one was because my face would get irritated from cleansing and I also found that using a toner was great for removing any debris from my skin that my cleanser left behind. Some of the toners I’ve used over the years have been great and others…not so much!

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Essence Toner by Le Mieux which is a serum-infused toner that hydrates & revitalizes the skin. This age-defying toner contains bioactive peptides, 10 botanical extracts, protective antioxidants, and anti-aging minerals to help correct fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.

The toner features acerola fruit extract, beta glucan and red & brown marine algae extracts to balance moisture levels and soothe, soften and replenish skin. It’s perfect for enhancing a daily anti-aging facial regimen. This toner is for dry, normal, combination and sensitive skin.

How to Use: Use the product morning and night after cleansing. Apply onto face, neck and decollete.

What Does it Do?

* Deeply hydrates & balances moisture levels
* Soothes skin irritation
* Minimizes the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles
* Visibly brightens complexion
* Helps improve firmness & elasticity

My Thoughts: I received the Essence Toner a few weeks ago for review. One of the things that immediately impressed me was that it comes in a pump-style bottle…which means no mess! The product is clear and you simply mist it onto your face after cleansing. It doesn’t have any stinky odors to it at all, matter of fact, I smell nothing which is great!

I’ve been using it twice a day after cleansing and just apply a light mist of it on my face and neck. In the past two weeks I have seen the moisture level in my skin improve to the point that I haven’t applied a facial moisturizer for the past 4 days. In addition, my skin does look brighter and my skin tone looks more even. I haven’t noticed a difference yet it firmness or elasticity but then again, that isn’t one of my main problems with my skin (yet).

So far, I really like this product and I’m going to continue to use it. I’m going to use it once a day (at bedtime) instead of twice a day, since I’m already pleased with the results that I’m getting.

    This sounds like a great product. I love that it comes in a pump bottle and you can mist it onto your face. I wonder how much it would help in firming the skin

    This is very interesting to me. I used to use a toner years ago, when I had oily skin, but haven’t really since then. It seems they always dried my skin, and were mainly alcohol. So when you say that you’ve seen a moisture increase, this is really something worth looking into for me. I also like the contamination-free pump feature, and the lacl of an alcohol smell. Really, I have to re-think my whole conception of tomers now!
