My Thoughts: For the past few years I’ve been reviewing cookbooks from Robert Rose here on the blog and I have to admit, this is one of my favorite cookbook publishers! The 150 Best Recipes for Cooking in Foil is a cookbook that really peaked my interest because we became owners of a travel trailer last year and do a lot of cooking while traveling. Cooking in foil packets is a great way to speed up cooking and it’s a no-fuss way for travelers like me!
I love that the author included such a wide variety of recipes in this book and the photos are definitely mouth-watering for sure! Almost every ingredient that I saw in this book is one that is readily available locally and I appreciate that since I hate hunting down special ingredients to just make a recipe. The author also includes various preparation and serving tips to go right along with most of the recipes. She’s thought of everything for us!
We will be hitting the road and traveling for several weeks this coming summer season and this cookbook is going to come in handy. Not only that, I’m sure I’ll be reaching for it and using it at home too! It’s fabulous!
