I have to admit…when it comes to baking a cake or a batch of cupcakes…I’m more apt to bake cupcakes because they’re easier to do, harder to mess up and I love that cupcakes are usually the perfect portion size. Don’t get me wrong, I do bake dessert cakes, but I really enjoy baking cupcakes a whole lot more!

However, as a wife, mother, grandmother and professional business woman…I need recipes that are easy-to-prepare, ones that guarantee my success and ones that don’t call for any strange ingredients that I can’t source locally. Since receiving this fabulous cupcake cookbook my mother and I have used it several times! We make cupcakes all of the time for bake sales at church, girl scout meetings for the princess, family parties & get-togethers and all sorts of other things. Out of all of the cupcake cookbooks that I’ve owned over the years…this one is my absolute favorite because the recipes are simple and because the author includes decorating tips, theme ideas, etc. Anyone can make these cupcakes from the novice to the experienced baker!

I think that would love this book. It has such a wide variety of cupcake recipes and I think that a cupcake can be the perfect portion control size.
