Welcome to the Friday ~ Week in Review post! I will be doing these posts every Friday to update you all on what happened throughout the week, so everyone can get caught up on the things they may of missed!
Quote of the Week: “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.” ~ Einstein
I’m going to keep this week’s “week in review” post short and sweet, along with a personal update. As some of you may have noticed, I went MIA for a month and was in the hospital for 4 1/2 weeks. Yes, you read that correct. While I was in the hospital I did have my mom, daughter and another helper helping to keep the blog afloat and I thank them for that. My access to the web while in there was spotty “at best” and to be honest…on most days I didn’t even give the web/blog a second thought. I was miserable, very sick and was fully concentrated on getting better and getting home to my family again.
As you may have noticed…I am indeed home and been home for a week now. My recovery will be slow, long and I hope you all are patient with me as I get back onto my feet again. I’ve got plenty of reviews, giveaways, content and other things already lined up (a few are behind) and I’ll be getting those things caught up over the next 2-3 weeks.
You can find all of the current giveaways that are still open listed in the right side bar of the home page. Next week…we will be listing at least 8-10 giveaways along with several reviews as we get things caught up here on the blog. I’ll be working only part time for the next few weeks until I get stronger and better. Anyway….have a great weekend!

Shelly, I am so glad that you are home and I hope that you will continue to take all the time you need to have a speedier recovery than expected. Although it was obvious that something was wrong all your readers should be understanding and I shall keep you in my prayers.
I love this quote from Einstein.
Great to hear you’re home and on the mend. I didn’t know Einstein said those wise words in the quote but it sure is true and I’ve always worked in service for others with my jobs. When I get in a funk, I have patients I see worse off than me and by helping them, it makes me feel better. Continue to get healthy and yes, do take it slow to get back on your feet.
Hi Shelly, I am so happy to hear that that are feeling a little better and that you are home with your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you and hope you are feeling like yourself very soon. I really liked the quote of the week there is a lot of truth in that. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. I love spring so very much it is the best time of the whole year. I love the flowers, green grass cover fields, cherry blossoms and baby animals.
Shelly, I’m so glad to hear that you’re home again and recovering from your ordeal. I think you and your helpers have done a wonderful job keeping TCC up and running, and I, for one, truly appreciate your efforts. Continue to heal, and enjoy the coming spring.
Great quote for this week, too.
