My Thoughts: Back in early February I was admitted into the hospital to have surgery and some other medical issues dealt with. I knew this hospital stay wouldn’t be easy and that I would need to get some things together to help keep myself busy while I healed. I decided to pick up a few of those adult coloring books along with some colored pencils, watercolor paints and some chalks. I was really surprised to see how the adult coloring trend has really grown into it’s own unique craft & art craze over the past 2 years or so.
Anyway, over the past few weeks I’ve been enjoying the adult coloring craze which has really helped me to sit down to relax & unwind. It’s the perfect art and crafts activity when you just want to sit down and enjoy some quiet time without background noise like the TV or radio. Plus, it’s totally portable too! I can place all of my supplies into a bag and tote it off to my mother’s house or take it with me into the doc’s office when I go in for some IV treatment.
