Crunchies + Whipped Strawberry Honey Butter Recipe

March 24, 2016 by Shelly

Crunchies Fruit SnacksHow many of you enjoy eating freeze-dried fruits? I have to admit, my family loves them! We use freeze-dried fruits as an ingredient in a lot of recipes but we also enjoy snacking on them, especially when camping or traveling. With that said, not all snacks of this nature are created equally, let’s face it, some are just plain terrible and others are fantastic like this next product that I’m going to introduce you to today.

Let me introduce you to Crunchies which is a freeze-dried fruit that are sourced ONLY from farmers that the company knows and those fruits are picked & processed at the perfect time so that you (the consumer) get the perfect product. Each fruit only contains one ingredient…fresh fruit! You can use these freeze-dried fruits to flavor homemade frosting, icing, fillings, pancakes, muffins, waffles and in all kinds of other recipes! Not big on that? Well, you can just toss them into your oatmeal, hot cereals, yogurts, ice creams or just snack on them straight from the package.

Crunchies Fruit Snacks

We received 8 packages of the Crunchies and I can honestly tell you that we loved EVERY flavor and it’s not often that I can say that. Yes, EVERY FLAVOR!  I used some of them in our pancake mix, waffle mix and oatmeal. I used another flavor as an ingredient in one of my muffin mixes and we snacked on many of them straight from their bag! They are super good and all were very flavorful and had a really nice crunch to them.

I’ve never seen the Crunchies before, but they sound good. And I bet that Strawberry Honey Butter would make a great ‘dip’ for them.

That honey butter would be so good! I like this kind of fruit in my oatmeal. I’d also put it in smoothies.
